Ep. 317: Julia Fox, Kylie & Travis, Miley, Chris Evans, & More Jan 09, 2023

Show notes

Emma and Julie begin with Julia Fox's reveal on WWHL: the 2020 Drake dating rumors just may be true. They then get into a tangent on the terminology around dating (hooking up, 'talking,' etc) and how it differs between generations. Then, Kylie & Travis on-again/off-again, and how this feels like something that doesn't necessitate a headline announcement. Then, the lyrics to Miley's new song, 'Flowers,' and the potential Liam of it all. (Also mentioned: the infamous 2019 Brody Jenner/Brandon Lee/Miley Instagram comment tiff.) We then get ourselves into a little Chris Evans tangent, and then on to Kim & North's TikToks. They end with the heartbreaking news that Tristan's mom, Andrea, has passed away suddenly in Toronto. Their thoughts are with him and his whole family.

Kardashian Bonus Show: Lamar TMZ, Christmas Party, Kim x Angie Martinez, & More Jan 05, 2023

Show notes

Another week with enough Kardashian news to warrant a mid-week recap.

*this episode was recorded 10pm Wednesday night, so anything that took place after is not included**

Emma and Julie begin with an update on Kanye's Instagram antics - highlighting the simultaneous need for both sensitivity around mental health AND the acknowledgement of the abusive nature of this behavior. They spend the first 15 minutes breaking down every element of this and how the conversations surrounding it may be impacting other women in similar situations.

Then, the announcement that Pete has joined Instagram. While recording, they noticed Kanye and a few others starting to follow him. They of course discuss the dream Kim/Pete insta reveal: a Skims boyfriend collection campaign. (Of course contingent on Pete's Calvin Klein exclusivity.) Then, a discussion of Pete sending Khloé flowers for Valentines Day, and more on Kim and Pete's relationship.

Lastly, they discuss Lamar's comments about Khloé on Celebrity Big Brother.
