Issue 623: The Rich People are at it Again & We Heart Paul Dano/Matthew Lillard Here Dec 09, 2025

Show notes

The guys are back to discuss the ongoing chaos of the Warner Bros./Paramount/Netflix legal battle and what the resulting deal could mean for the rest of us (in other words the rich people are doing rich people things that will probably only hurt the rest of us and result in a ton of job losses and prices increases... yay). Plus, the guys discuss Five Nights at Freddy's 2 box office weekend win, the upcoming trailer for Supergirl releasing later this week, who Scarlett Johansson could play in The Batman part 2, Quentin Tarantino being weird towards Paul Dano and Matthew Lillard, and more! The guys also answer 2 big questions: 1) with Avengers: Endgame set to rerelease in theaters next year, what MCU film would want to see get a rerelease? 2) did Jong play Balatro?
2026 is almost here and here at Comicast a new year usually means a new predictions issue of the podcast but this year we want to know what questions you may have for Jong and Michael. What prompts/questions would you give to the duo? For instance, which film will be the biggest box office draw? What character will make an appearance in Spider-Man Brand New Day? What video game property will be adapted next? Submit your prediction questions/prompts to them via social media or you can email them at comicastpod@gmail.com.
