This is an Old Testament Bible study for children. Come Follow Me Podcast for Kids! We are an LDS primary podcast that studies the Old Testament in a way for older primary children. This week we are learning: I can faithfully keep my covenants. In the book of Hosea, the Lord compared His covenants with the Israelites to a marriage. Despite the Israelites’ unfaithfulness, He still loved them and wanted them to return. We will discuss our covenants and how important they are. We will also help the children understand that the covenants we make with the Lord are meant to last forever. We discuss Joel’s prophecies about the last days and how his words align with President Russel M Nelson. The Lord told Jeremiah to write down His words, and Jeremiah’s writings have been preserved for us in the book of Jeremiah. This week we are studying the Old Testament prophet Jeremiah. The children listening will learn: Heavenly Father knew me before I was born. Because we lived with God before we came to earth, He knows us, even if we can’t remember Him. Prophets are called to speak the words of the Lord. The calling of Jeremiah shows what the Lord asks prophets to do. I can help Heavenly Father’s children come back to Him. Citing Jeremiah 16:16, President Russell M.
