Show notes

" Everything that we go through in life, all of it, is part of our education, and more than that, it's part of our ministry. It's our ability to help, love, and care for other people. I feel like it has been an honor and a privilege to have lived my life, even though it has been incredibly hard. I want other people to know that the Lord lives and loves them, even if it doesn't look like He does."

Childhood Abuse, Infertility, and the Question that Finally Brought Dee Back to Jesus Christ Sep 13, 2026

Show notes

" My life is not what I expected it to be, but it's beautiful and it's wonderful and it's mine and I built it and I made it this and I'm proud of what I did and I'm proud of how I built it and I'm proud of the relationship that I have with my Heavenly Father. Everything that I went through doesn't define who I am, but it helped me become who I am and it helped me to find the fortitude that I needed to get through it and to power through and power on."

Childhood Abuse & the CES Letter Destroyed Bailey's Faith...Until Jesus Rebuilt Her from the Dust Sep 06, 2026

Show notes

"Those answers just don't matter as much as my relationship with my Savior. It's like a weight system, you know? I'm not gonna give up something that's so important to me for the tiny weight of this one particular answer. I'm weighing my options, and I'm gonna choose Christ every time because He is who put me back together and it doesn't matter if I really believe in polygamy or not. He was there, so I'm with Him."

Jim was a Drug Dealer on the Streets of Chicago...Until God Showed Him His Future Aug 30, 2026

Show notes

" You really become a new person. You become who you are, who you really are... It took me a little bit of time. It didn't happen overnight for me. But when I decided to change, when I really wanted to change...The other time that I tried to change, I didn't pull the Savior in much. It was, "I'm gonna stop. I'm gonna change friends." This time was different. I really put the effort in to bring Him into my life."

Marley's Faith Crisis Pulled Her Away from the Church....and Why She Decided to Stay Aug 23, 2026

Show notes

" The answer to every question or concern that anybody ever has is that it will all be okay because of the atonement of Jesus Christ. That is what it's for. That is why they say the first principle of the gospel is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It is real life. It's not just something that we tell Primary kids because it's cute, and we turned it into a cute little story and song. It is real. Start there. I came to really love my Savior, and He came to really help me."

Kiaya was a Heroin Addict for 10 Years...A Cop Made Her a Promise, and Jesus did the Rest Aug 16, 2026

Show notes

"No matter where you're at or what you're doing or what you feel about yourself, I promise you that you can have a bright and better future for yourself. All you have to do is decide wherever you are or wherever you're at spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, that you can choose for yourself to have a better day. That this could be the best day of your life, that this day you can choose to do something different with your life. Whatever you're struggling with, it doesn't have to be as serious as what I've struggled with, you can choose better for yourself, and that's exactly what your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want for you. They want you to be happy and have a good life, and have a loving relationship, and have a family, and things like that. Whatever righteous desires of your heart, that's what they want for you, and you deserve it, no matter what you've done in your past."

Shad's Mental Health Had Him in Prison...Until Jesus Christ Broke the Chains Aug 09, 2026

Show notes

" Coming back to reclaim my life, it was line upon line. That was not a quick process. Between when I started my mission to getting healed...I was a different person. In a sense that's how my mission turned out. It turned out differently than I thought, but I wouldn't take it back because of the blessings that have come from it."

Matthew Struggled with Same-Sex Attraction, was Excommunicated, then Found Freedom in Jesus Christ Aug 02, 2026

Show notes

" When I rooted my identity in the Lord like I never have before, I realized that I am not the carnal desires of my body... "Therefore, crucify the lusts of the flesh and walk in the spirit." (Gal 5:5). As I've done that, I have come to realize full-heartedly, I am not my sexuality... In the scriptures it says freedom comes where the spirit of the Lord is, and freedom comes when sin is no longer your master. I have experienced freedom from same-sex attraction. It doesn't mean that God came and removed the thorn in my side, but it means that when I walk in His Spirit, I can stand immovable and unwavering in the face of temptation as Jesus did."

Bee Knew Something Was Off in Her Marriage...It Led Her Back to Jesus Christ Jul 26, 2026

Show notes

"We have a Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ who love us, and we're good enough. Nobody gets to tell us who we are, including ourselves when it's terrible. Because Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's opinion is the only thing that matters. I'm learning to really take that on and to really know for myself that it doesn't matter what anybody thinks of me but them, and as long as I'm trying my best, it's okay."
