EP 360: Taylor, Latu Power Colts Past Bears Sep 23, 2024
    Show notes

The Colts are winless no more, but it wasn't exactly pretty.

Matt Adams recaps the team's 21-16 win against the Chicago Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium--a game that was "unwatchable" at times. The defense forced three turnovers, finished with four sacks and had a key goal line stand (stop it with the speed option, already!).

Jonathan Taylor paced the offense while Anthony Richardson flashed his truly erratic nature, connecting on a couple deep balls but airmailing some simple throws and throwing an inexplicable endzone interception. Thankfully, Laiatu Latu was there to shut the door.

Hear from coach Shane Steichen (21:50) and quarterback Anthony Richardson (30:26).

EP 359: Can Colts Bear Down Against Chicago? Sep 19, 2024
    Show notes

It wasn't pretty in Green Bay, and now the Colts will try to avoid an 0-3 start as they welcome the Chicago Bears to Lucas Oil Stadium.

In this episode of the Colts Blue Zone Podcast, Mike Chappell, Dave Griffiths and Matt Adams dive into the team's problems in Green Bay and explain why Chicago and Indianapolis are meeting each other at an opportune time for both clubs.

    Show order:

    • Bryce Young benched and impact on Colts and Anthony Richardson (2:06)
    • Where was Jonathan Taylor in the fourth quarter vs. Packers? (13:10)
    • Colts Pro Football Hall of Fame nominees (18:30)
    • This week's opponent: the Chicago Bears (26:40)
    • Game prediction (50:50)

    EP 358: Lambeau Lemon Sep 16, 2024
    Show notes

The Colts suffered a disastrous setback in Week 2 against the Packers. Missed tackles, dropped passes, turnovers, penalties and injuries typified the afternoon.

Basically, if it could go wrong, it did go wrong against the Packers. Matt Adams looks at the Lambeau disaster and what the team needs to do to get back on track.

Hear from head coach Shane Steichen (15:37) and quarterback Anthony Richardson (27:11).
