Kansas State Head Basketball coach Jerome Tang is this weeks guest on the Coach Me Up Podcast hosted by Jimmy Dykes and Chris Burke .

Coach Tang is fresh off an Elite 8 appearance in the 2023 NCAA tournament. In his first season as the head coach at K-State, he was named the Naismith National Coach of the Year .

Coach tells Jimmy and Chris how he came to know Jesus, how his early days as a Bible quiz coach impacted his life path, and lessons he learned in his first year as the head coach of the Wildcats .

Gabe Gross is an Auburn legend. He is in an elite class of athletes who have been an All American in baseball and also been a starting QB in college (most recent example Kyler Murray). As impressive as his achievements are as an athlete (7 seasons in the MLB), he has also backed it up with an equally impressive run as a hitting coach, helping Auburn get to 2 of the last 3 College World Series. Despite all his worldly success he has had plenty of trials, and times where he has had to lean on his faith for his confidence and identity. Coach Lashlee at age 39, is one of the youngest head football coaches in Division 1, but shares great insight and wisdom that is far beyond his years.
