HaHa Davis joins Club Shay Shay for a hilarious and unfiltered conversation about comedy, relationships, viral fame, and the journey that turned him into one of the internet’s most recognizable personalities.
HaHa Davis opens up about his dramatic weight-loss transformation, revealing how a single look in the mirror motivated him to lose more than 40 pounds and completely change his lifestyle. He reflects on growing up as the class clown in Detroit, getting kicked out of multiple schools, and eventually finding his calling in comedy after friends encouraged him to start creating content online.
The conversation quickly shifts into HaHa Davis’ signature relationship humor as he and Shannon Sharpe debate everything from dating, jealousy, social media “burner accounts,” and trust issues to personal trainers, girls’ nights out, and modern relationships. HaHa shares stories from his own experiences, including getting caught cheating, learning difficult lessons about commitment, and why he now prefers having one woman in his life after years of dating multiple women.
HaHa also tells a memorable story involving Chance the Rapper and a night out in Chicago that led to relationship drama, while they exchange hilarious takes on marriage, arguments, communication, and why men often struggle to stay out of trouble.
Later, the comedian discusses fame, success, and how money can lead people into experiences they never imagined. He reflects on lessons learned from relationships, therapy, and advice he received from Snoop Dogg about patience and staying calm under pressure.
The interview also dives deep into the evolution of internet comedy. HaHa Davis explains how he built his platform during the Vine era. He talks about developing iconic catchphrases like “Big Fella,” “You Better Be a Breeze,” “Time to Regroup,” and “That’s Beyond Me,” which helped make him a viral sensation.
HaHa gives his Mount Rushmore of social media comedians, naming DC Young Fly, Druski, Desi Banks, and himself, while also discussing the impact of Country Wayne and other creators who helped shape online comedy. He shares his thoughts on joke stealing, content creation, and why Druski has elevated internet comedy to another level with bigger productions and larger budgets.
Throughout the episode, they deliver nonstop laughs while discussing relationships, fame, comedy, entrepreneurship, social media success, and the mindset required to remain relevant for more than a decade in the entertainment industry.
