**Clearly with Jimmy & Kelly Needham**

Tackling the complex, confusing, and controversial stuff of the Bible and life.

That pretty much sums up what we do here on Clearly: Helping demystify the Bible so you can discover the big-dealness of God. Cause when He becomes everything, everything gets better.

Critically (really, they were very, very critical) acclaimed recording artist and pastor Jimmy Needham has always been drawn to things others overlook.

His wife, author and speaker Kelly Needham, is a Bible teacher at heart. Join one or both of them each week for a dive into the parts of the Bible that scare you off and the areas of your spiritual life you’ve been avoiding. You just might find what was once blurry is coming into focus.

Jimmy can sing the genealogy of Jesus. The end. Thank you all for coming! 👋

Just kidding…

Today we’re discussing the genealogy of Jesus Christ from Abraham to Joseph!

Questions we ask ourselves after a passage like this:

- Why should we care about genealogies? Why do they matter?
- Why memorize the genealogy of Jesus Christ?
- Why is Joseph included in Jesus’ genealogy?

We couldn’t answer every question about this passage but we certainly hope that we helped! Want to ask more questions? Email question@jimmyandkelly.com.

The Road to Child Sacrifice is Paved With Good Intentions Apr 02, 2024

Fun fact, you shouldn't do everything you read in the Bible. There is some pretty messed up stuff in there!

This brings up an important question: How do I know if the Bible is telling me to do something (prescriptive) or if it is just describing something that happened (descriptive)? Let's talk about it and delve into some big no-nos found in scripture.

The God of the Old Testament feels like a bit much…until we realize maybe we are not seeing things as CLEARLY (see what I did there?) as we should. May we be zealous for God's honor like Phinehas. Also, great baby name.
