Brother Eric Costa 1994 National Apprenticeship competition winner Jul 30, 2023

I got to talk with Brother Eric Costa BK # 1190896 out of local 397 Tampa Florida. Eric won the 1994 National Apprenticeship competition in Pittsburg, PA, Eric is also the 11 time column climbing champion at the Ironworker festival in Mackinaw City, MI. A TRIBUTE TO TRAVIS AND YODER Apr 27, 2022

Hello Brothers and Sister. On this episode i wanted to pay homage to Brother Travis Corbett of Ironworkers local 29 Portland, Oregon and Brother Andrew Yoder of Ironworkers local 86 Seattle, Washington on the third anniversary of the Seattle Tower Crane Collapse. I asked Brother Larry Jocko, a Local 86 member and Owner of Industry Erectors in Seattle WA to talk about the two Brothers we lost 3 years ago. Larry knew Travis and Yoder better than most, and i want him to give his thoughts and perspective on the type of men Travis and Yoder are. Also, Larry has a knowledge of Tower Cranes that most Ironworkers don't, so i wanted his thoughts and opinion on what he thinks happen that tragic afternoon.
Complacency is a term we all know, but most of us fail to correct the behavior. This tragedy is a lesson we should all keep close, and remember that it will kill us. These brothers paid with their life. Don't let it be in vain. BE SAFE
