Catherine Joy is a composer, score Producer, arranger, orchestrator, music editor, etc, etc, etc. In fact, it would probably be easier to list the jobs in film music she doesn’t do.
Her scores can be heard on award-winning films, shorts, and tv shows. She’s the founder of Joy Music House, one of the fastest growing score production companies in Los Angeles. And, to top it all off, she’s a vice president of the Alliance for Women Film Composers.
On this episode, we premier Catherine’s new piece, “On Purpose,” and discuss remote score production, collaboration vs performance, and cello envy.
