    Show notes

With the Bulls' game against the Raptors postponed, they finished the month of February with a tough loss to the Suns. Despite that late collapse against Phoenix, Chicago still went 8-6 in February to earn its first winning month since December 2017. Jason and Ricky talk about the Suns game and wrap up the month of February while looking ahead to what seems to be a brutal second half of the schedule. How the Bulls handle their difficult upcoming stretch could determine what happens with Thaddeus Young, whose trade value continues to rise.

Zach LaVine is an All-Star Feb 24, 2021
    Show notes

Jason and Ricky head to Locker Room to give immediate reaction to Zach LaVine earning his first All-Star selection. We talk about LaVine's career season and how he has leveled up to become a guy who deserves a max contract as a foundational long-term piece of the Chicago Bulls, especially with the team winning more games. Instead of looking to trade him, the Bulls should build with him in mind.

Bulls come back down to earth Jan 27, 2021
    Show notes

Cash Considerations welcomes OG Bulls blogger Doug Thonus to the pod to talk all things Bulls. After a three-game winning streak, the Bulls were brought back down to earth by the Lakers and Celtics in two ugly losses. Making matters worse, Wendell Carter Jr. is out for a month with a quad injury. We also discuss the play and futures of Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine and Coby White, as well as how the veteran bench is badly outplaying the starters. What does that mean for the trade deadline, and should there be lineup changes?

The Bulls might be decent Jan 20, 2021
    Show notes

Jason and Ricky keep the Bulls optimism going after consecutive wins over the Mavericks and Rockets get them back to 6-8 on the season, which washed the bad taste of the collapse against the Thunder out of the mouth. The Bulls might not actually be good overall, but they're improving and fun to watch thanks to Zach LaVine's scoring exploits and contributions from up and down the roster. The new front office is in a fascinating spot with this roster, and it will be interesting to see which way they go.
