    Rachel de Barros is the Chief Marketing Officer, Host, and Executive Producer for Gearhead Diva, a DIY car building community and network producing edu-tainment style videos for today's social generation. She is an active contributor to a number of automotive forums, online publications, social media networks, shows, and community events. Rachel is a member of the SEMA Businesswomen's Network and SEMA Young Executives Network and is participating a number of SEMA builds this year. You'll also see Rachel on the Velocity channel on All Girls Garage and the show Big Fuel Garage. This week I'll be catching up with Rachel in the Covercraft booth at SEMA to talk cars and Covercraft's new and innovative products.

    Pack Fancher is the Founder of Spookstock Foundation, a group that raises money through donations, for the surviving dependents of fallen shadow warriors via the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Pack and his team have come up with a unique fund raising effort to help fallen CIA and Special Operations personnel by building a unique automobile they call the Donovan Car. His International teammates are: Jesse Gonzalez from Street Toys of Juarez, Mexico who is the Chief builder of the Donovan Car. Michael Lightbourn is the Coordinator of the Donovan Car build and owner of MegLite Enterprises in El Paso, Texas. Sam Hard, the sponsor liaison owns Hard Up Garage in the United Kingdom. This November the car will be at SEMA and then in January the car will be auctioned off during Barrett Jackson's Arizona event to raise monies to help Spookstock Foundation's beneficiaries.

    Jerome van Gool entered the suspension industry in 1990 and since then he has owned several notable racing damper companies before he and his group founded Motion Control Suspension (MCS) in 2011, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in the Netherlands, Jerome has been surrounded by racing since his childhood when he dreamed of being involved in the GT Endurance and Touring cars he watched race. Numerous professional races have been won on Jerome's work including the FIA GT and FIA Sportscar Championship, FIA ETCC and FIA WTCC Chamionship, Grand-Am and World Challenge Championship and numerous National GT, Touring, and Club Racing events around the world. With roots in racing MCS products excel in all environments from enthusiastic street driving to auto-cross, track days, club racing and far beyond.

    Aimee Shackelford is known as Petrolgirl, has combined her expertise in social media, sales, automotive, internet forums, event organization, rallies, and logistics. She is the CEO of Social Bolt, a company created to help others maintain their social media presence on the web. She is also the Director of Fun at Gold Rush Rally, an annual trendsetting celebration and one of the fastest growing social events and lifestyle brands in the automotive marketplace. And Aimee is also a Partner at Exotics on Cannery Row, an annual event that takes place on Friday during the Monterey Cars Week events. She and her team created an ideal venue for companies to showcase their products and services to a demographic passionate about high-end automobiles and modifications.

    Adams Hudson is the Founder and CEO of Hudson, Ink a company that helps contractors thrive through marketing training and coaching. However it is his significant automotive addiction, owning more than 150 cars over his 40 years of driving, that brings Adams to Cars Yeah today. He's made money buying and selling lots of cars so his hobby paid for itself, instead of siphoning off grocery money, largely placating his patient wife. He wrote a book for Motorbooks International that was published and has penned several magazines articles and once owned a market letter for Panteras, Shelbys, and Tigers. Adams self described credentials? Product Design Chief for AMC Gremlin, Financial Advisor for Deloren, and Luggage Space Consultant for the Alfa 4.


    885: Dr. Earnie Nagamatsu is an avid vintage racer who has raced the 1959 Old Yeller II Buick Special for over 28 years. Oct 23, 2017

    Dr. Ernie Nagamatsu is an avid vintage racer who has run on tracks around the world. He was a very good friend of Max Balchowsky, the builder of the legendary 1959 Old Yeller II Buick Special. Ernie has owned and raced that very same car for over 28 years. Old Yeller has been raced around the world by Ernie and with the exception of a three year rest, that car has raced continuously since it was built. He raced Formula Fords in the 1980s in SCCA and started historic racing a 1964 Shelby Cobra CS 2203 with a Le Mans Hardtop over 35 years ago including important International Historic racing events. He also races the legendary SCCA E Production "Kilpatrick" Porsche Speedster. Ernie's career as a dentist in Las Angeles spanned decades, he is a writer and he's written a cookbook, "Foods of the Kingdom of Bhutan" for which he received numerous awards.


    884: Steve and Jordan Melnick plus Keith Zang equals Classic Car Chasers. Oct 20, 2017

    Steven Melnick, his brother Jordan Melnick, and Keith Zang are three guys from New York City who share a passion for cars that lead them to create Classic Car Chasers. While each one pursue different careers, Steven in Finance, Jordan in accounting, and Keith in advertising, it's their love of cars that was the catalyst for creating Classic Car Chasers. Their motto, "For The Love of Classics" comes from their shared passion so they created a website where they buy, sell, and promote classic cars by featuring special automobiles on their website that they find around the world. Their hobby is rapidly growing in to a following of enthusiasts where they connect people and classic cars.


    883: Jeff Bloch, better known as Speedycop, races in the 24 Hours of Lemons series. Oct 19, 2017

    Jeff Bloch, better known as Speedycop, has been a police officer for nearly 22 years. He's also a fun-loving car enthusiast and an adrenaline junky with a very creative and competitive spirit. Put those things together, and you get his own unique brand of automotive mayhem! As a police sergeant in DC, he rides a horse downtown, at the White House, and on the National Mall. As the captain of Speedycop & The Gang of Outlaws, he designs and builds the most unusual race cars in the 24 Hours of Lemons series. With more than two dozen Lemons builds already, he and his team keep raising the bar for creativity!


    882: Tim Llewellyn is the Founder of International Classic Car Informer.com, a place to source pre-1980 car parts and services. Oct 18, 2017

    Tim Llewellyn lives in Sussex, England and runs International Classic Car Informer.com, a new global intelligently searchable online database where people will find all sorts of goods or services for pre-1980 automobiles. He grew up with an automotive enthusiast father who enjoyed working on old cars and race cars including Bentelys, Rollses, Sunbeam, Austin, a 250 F GP Maserati and many others. Tim's first car was a 1936 British Salmson that be started to restore when he was only 9. He is also an avid vintage racer now in his 41st year racing vintage race cars. Today Tim's goal is to be the worlds best, most comprehensive, and easy-to-use database for professionals and amateurs by helping them sources the automotive parts they need. Classic Car Informer.com is a cost effective forum for classic car businesses helping them promote their services.


    881: JIm Lowe is a neurosurgeon who has gone racing and written a book about his adventures. Oct 17, 2017

    Dr. Jim Lowe is an over-achieving yet unassuming Neurosurgeon, adventurer, and family man who has spent his life pursuing challenges of person and professional levels. He has chronicled his experiences in a series of blogs and email recollections that he has woven together in his entertaining book, World's Fastest Neurosurgeon. He earned his degree from Harvard, served 30 years in the Marine Corps (Oorah!) and he is a surfer, competitive snowboarder, golfer, and little league coach. Jim's ultimate athletic aspirations come in the demanding world of top-tier sports car racing. Spanning nearly a decade Jim's run 200 mph purpose-built prototype race cars at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the high banks of Daytona International Speedway. His racing has been a lesson in perseverance, chasing dreams, life balance, and setting goals.
