    Brodi Jackson is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Caerus Ventures. Ms. Jackson has more than 17 years of private equity and alternative asset management experience. She has been an equity and debt investor, managing a $3.5 billion private equity business and originating over $4 billion in loans. Ms. Jackson is a member of the Caerus deal team. She is responsible for valuations, transaction structuring and portfolio allocations. Ms. Jackson is responsible for general management of Caerus Ventures and is a member of the investment committee. Ms. Jackson built upon her extensive experience in principal investing to develop the capital allocation and investment philosophy of Fund I. Ms. Jackson is a generalist within Caerus Ventures and covers all portfolio companies. Prior to Caerus Ventures, Ms. Jackson ran an asset management consulting firm focused on improving financial management for private equity managers including Brookfield Asset Management and Soros Private Funds Management. Prior to starting her consulting business, Ms. Jackson had a successful career on Wall Street. In 2006, Ms. Jackson helped start a new business unit within the Merchant Banking division of Goldman Sachs. In just under three years, Ms. Jackson was integral in growing the business to $3.5 billion in assets under management. Ms. Jackson also served in Goldman’s Investment Banking Division. Ms. Jackson served as an Associate Director in UBS Warburg’s Real Estate Private Equity Group.     Engy Fouda is a Muslim Egyptian author, freelance engineer and journalist. She is currently a M.A. student for journalism at the Harvard Extension School and the Team Lead for Momken Group (Engineering for the Blind), Egypt Scholars Inc. She published several books including a book that made Amazon best selling charts for the Arabic books. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Cairo University, in 2001 and 2006 respectively. In 2002, she joined the American University in Cairo as a teacher assistant in Electrical Engineering Department. Then she worked as a teacher assistant at the German University in Cairo (2003 - 2007), where she founded the GUC Robotics Research Group. She was the Editor in Chief for Mn Europa Elbalad magazine for 3 years. She is a Microsoft Charter member for .Net, and was a Microsoft Certified Trainer and she instructed many classes at different training centers. She is a volunteer at Resala Charity Organization, an Egypt and US-based charity organization. She was the team lead for the Resala software group. Throughout her career, she worked at several companies and did several freelance projects. She is a wife and a mother. She plays taekwondo, rides horses, and loves nature. She speaks Arabic, English , good German, and very basic French. Engy Foda received the IEEE RAB Leadership Award for the year 2002 and first place at Nortel Networks for graduation projects in 2001.     Orly started a brand consulting practice in 2002 to help companies and organizations uncover their unique stories and produce relevant online content and messaging. Prior to starting her practice, Orly was Senior Design Manager for the Vanguard Group where she directed all of the marketing materials for Vanguard’s largest institutional clients and managed an operating budget that included $10 million in printing. From 1986-2000, Orly ran the award-winning Zeewy Design and Marketing Communications and led comprehensive marketing programs for clients such as CIGNA, Kraft General Foods, Prince Manufacturing, Inc., Morris, Nichols, Arsht and Tunnell and Villanova University. Orly is a former lead speaker for the Smart Talk series at University City Science Center and guest lecturer at Wharton. She has taught at Philadelphia University, The Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University, The University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences and at The University of the Arts. She now teaches in The Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship at Drexel University and in the Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University. Orly is a graduate of The University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences, BA, Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and holds a BS in Graphic Design from The University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture and Art, one of the top ten design programs in the country.
