It certainly is not your classic "signing day" but it is still a big day on the Ohio State football beat. The media will meet with OSU head coach Ryan Day at 9:30 a.m. to discuss a wide variety of issues, including of course the status of Bill O'Brien and what Day plans on doing with his offensive coordinator/QB gig if O'Brien ends up leaving.

Also, did we just witness the end of the Chris Holtmann era last night after the Buckeyes' blew an 18-point second-half lead to visiting Indiana? During an embarrassing season, this was the height of embarrassment.

Walton is an excellent secondary coach and continues to recruit like a madman. His latest get is Na'eem Offord, the No. 2 cornerback in the country in the 2025 class. This is after landing the nation's No. 1 corner recruit -- Devin Sanchez -- just last month.
