We then broke down the recruitment of Elbert 'Rock' Hill from Akron Hoban. Guess who also wants Ohio's top-ranked Class of 2026 prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite.

We dive deep.

Replacing Will Howard | New recruiting trail vibes? Feb 11, 2025

Buckeyes headed for co-defensive coordinators? Promoting from within? Feb 10, 2025

Show notes

There was a lot of smoke over the last week that Kansas City Chiefs defensive line coach Joe Cullen might join Ryan Day's staff at Ohio State. However, that no longer appears to be in the cards. So, what will Day do and when will he do it? Well, there is really no rush, although we know he won't wait too much longer. Will the final plan be to promote Matt Guerrieri and Tim Walton to co-DCs?

What do we think of the other coaching moves that Day has made since winning the national championship?

Dave Biddle and Dan Rubin tackle that and much more on the Monday 5ish.

Will Hartline call plays? | Who will be the new DC? Feb 07, 2025

Show notes

It is a coordinator-themed edition of the show today as Jonah Booker and Dave Biddle discuss Brian Hartline being promoted to offensive coordinator (even though he already held that title) and what might happen with Ohio State's defensive coordinator position. Is Ryan Day -- who just agreed to a seven-year contract extension yesterday that will pay him $12.5 million per season -- waiting to hire Joe Cullen? Might there be co-defensive coordinators with Cullen and someone currently on the staff?

That and much more is coming your way on the Friday 5ish.
