Michigan is 'not on same recruiting plane' as Ohio State Jul 17, 2019

Show notes

Following the commitment of high four-star safety Lathan Ransom on Tuesday, Ohio State moved up to No. 2 (from No. 4) in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings for the 2020 class.

Ransom gives the Buckeyes 21 prospects in their class thus far, with at least four more expected to join him.

To illustrated how amazing this class is, Ransom is ranked as the No. 76 player in the country, and he is merely the eighth-best prospect in OSU's class.

By comparison, Ransom would be the highest-ranked player in Michigan's class (the Wolverines' top recruit is ranked No. 80 in the Composite).

Furthermore, if things go as expected leading up to the early signing period in December -- and perhaps all the way until the traditional signing day in February -- just how high will Ryan Day and Ohio State finish in the recruiting rankings this year? Will they keep the No. 2 ranking? Could they even finish No. 1, which is something Urban Meyer never did in Columbus?

Speaking of Day, what can fans expect to hear from him when he takes the mic at Big Ten Media Days in Chicago on Thursday?

The People's Champ, Matt Baxendell, joins Dave Biddle to discuss that and much more on the Wednesday extravaganza.

The Joshua Perry Show: Michigan the B1G fave? 'Hell to the no' Jul 15, 2019

Show notes

Phil Steele and many others are picking Michigan to win the Big Ten championship this season.

Is Joshua Perry buying that the Wolverines are the team to beat within the conference?

The former Ohio State linebacker, national champion, captain and NFL player drops by for his show to delve into why he believes the Buckeyes will ultimately prove to be the Big Ten's best in 2019.

Also on the docket:

* Is Shea Patterson overrated? Steele has him ranked as the fifth-best quarterback in the country. And he does not list OSU's Justin Fields in his ranking of the top-75 QBs in the land.

* Speaking of Fields, what does Joshua Perry expect out of him as a sophomore this season?

* And what is something good you need to know about the Buckeyes' 2019 team? Joshua fills you in.

All of that and more is coming up on the latest edition of The Joshua Perry Show.

Bank on Bijan: 'I have him in ink, not pencil' Jul 15, 2019

Show notes

Is 5-star running back Bijan Robinson going to join Ohio State's stellar 2020 recruiting class, which is currently No. 4 in the country in the 247Sports Composite team rankings?

The answer to that question is "hell yes" if you are Bill "Bank" Greene.

Bank joins Dave Biddle on today's show to give insights on the top players remaining on OSU's board for the 2020 class. Specifically, Robinson, Elias Ricks, Lathan Ransom, Jaylan Knighton, Jacolbe Cowan and Kourt Williams?

Also, what's the deal with the "hard cap" of 25 players per recruiting class? Are their loopholes the Buckeyes can use to get over 25?

All of that and more is coming at you on the Monday extravaganza.
