Where will Buckeyes be in first College Football Playoff rankings of 2019? Nov 04, 2019

Show notes

The first College Football Playoff rankings of 2019 will be released Tuesday evening and it will be interesting to see where Ohio State is ranked.

The Buckeyes (8-0, 5-0 Big Ten) are ranked No. 3 in the AP poll and No. 4 in the Coaches poll, but those polls have zero impact on the four teams that make the CFP.

Might Ryan Day and Co. be ranked No. 1 the CFP?

Steve Helwagen joins Dave Biddle to discuss that on today's show, plus:

* The Buckeyes are favored by 44 points over visiting Maryland this Saturday.

* What are expectations for OSU's star players such as Justin Fields, Chase Young, J.K. Dobbins and others down the stretch of the season?

* Which game is a bigger threat to the Buckeyes: At home against Penn State, or on the road against Michigan?

All of that and more is happening on the Monday 5ish.

As the Bijan Turns Oct 31, 2019

Show notes

Running back drama? The Buckeyes? Well, if it's the Class of 2020 recruiting cycle, there's been more drama than needed.

We thought Ohio State had basically settled on two targets: Ohioan Miyan Williams and Georgia native Jahmyr Gibbs). But an 'old' name popped up again recently. Bijan Robinson told 247Sports he is still in contact with Ohio State's staff despite his Texas commitment.

The heck?

247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong is here with the latest.

Plus, we asked Bucknutters to submit questions for Steve and got some good ones.

* All of the Bijan queries - and there were several.

* Julian Fleming - Is the Keystone State native wavering?

* 2020 a down year for B1G-area recruits or is 2021 looking like a banner year?

* Did Ohio State make up ground on Notre Dame for Will Shipley this past weekend?

All that and more coming your way. Spend 5ish with us this morning, 'Nutters!
