Singletary decommits | Ewers joining team soon? Aug 02, 2021

Show notes

There is much to discuss on the show today as 2022 cornerback Jaheim Singletary de-committed from Ohio State on Sunday.

Might he re-commit down the line, or will the Buckeyes need to look elsewhere? Also, quarterback Quinn Ewers -- who is currently the top recruit in the nation in the 2022 class -- might reclassify to the 2021 class and join OSU's team sometime this month.

All of that and more is coming your way on the Monday 5ish as Dave Biddle flies solo.

Why Quinn Ewers is different | Serving up 'Cookout' Jul 29, 2021

Show notes

It's never dull on the Buckeyes beat.

It's also 'Cookout' day at the WHAC as the Buckeyes will welcome a litany of 2023 prospects but 2022 and 2024 will also be represented.

Who better to wax poetic on said topics than 247Sports Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong? Nobody.

He's here and ready to share.

* Might the Big Ten merge with the Pac 12?

* Can you believe all the stuff Ryan Day has had to deal with since being promoted to head coach at Ohio State?

* What are injury updates for the Buckeyes with camp kicking off in just six days?

All of that and more is coming your way on the Wednesday 5ish.

On today's show, we look back on Ryan Day's comments at Big Ten media days and translate what he said. Wait, translate? Yes. While we love Day around here, he is a football coach. And guess what? So we are here to translate Day's comments on Ohio State's competition at quarterback and many other topics.

All of that and more is coming your way on the Monday 5ish as Patrick Murphy drops by.
