William Shakespeare And The Incredible 1935 Notre Dame vs. Ohio State Comeback Jan 19, 2025
    Show notes

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Notre Dame Fighting Irish are getting set to face off for just the ninth time in history in Monday night's 2025 National Championship Game. Despite a limited history of head-to-head matchups, the two storied programs have played a number of memorable games over the decades.
But none can hold a candle to the first-ever game between the teams, the 1935 showdown in Ohio Stadium. It was one of the first "games of the century" and featured an incredible comeback, last-minute heroics, and drama written by William Shakespeare himself.
In this episode of the Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning podcast, you'll take a trip back 90 years into the past to the first ever matchup of Ohio State vs. Notre Dame.

Ohio State vs Notre Dame: Can The Buckeyes Fight Off A Team As Resilient As The Irish? Jan 16, 2025
    Show notes

Notre Dame has won its last two College Football Playoff Games despite incredibly slow starts. The Irish managed just three points in the first 28 minutes of the Sugar Bowl, and got shut out for the first 29 minutes of the Orange Bowl before exploding for a 17-point ambush of Georgia around halftime, and a 10-point burst to overcome a 10-0 deficit against Penn State.
So how much of a challenge is it to try to defeat a team like Notre Dame that refuses to stay on the mat? In this episode of the Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning podcast, you'll hear the answer to that and much more from Ohio State head coach Ryan Day.
Day discussed Carnell Tate's expanded role, the importance of "Leaving No Doubt", the impact of giving up play-calling on the season, the growth of redshirt freshman guard Luke Montgomery, and much more.
