That includes veterans like Cameron Heyward and Johnathan Hankins, rookies like Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, defenders like Denzel Ward and the Bosa brothers, and offensive stars like Terry McLaurin and Ezekiel Elliott.

Eight rounds, four drafters, 32 Ohio State players picked.

Ohio State transfer talk -- Building an entire defense from departing Buckeyes May 04, 2022

Players who want to be eligible to play at their new schools this fall needed to be in the transfer portal by May 1 (or get a waiver later), so the portal may calm down for a bit now that the deadline has passed.

Ohio State football has only offered eight running backs in the 2023 recruiting class with hopes of landing two. Mark Fletcher was the first to come on board doing so in April but others on the list have committed elsewhere or cut down their options with the Buckeyes on the outside looking in. As the cycle heads into May, Stephen Means and Nathan Baird take a look at OSU's top remaining options, its chances of landing each and whether it should widen the field to reach its goals.
