HEY, HEY, HEEEEY! We are back with Big Nick's old pal Lou DiMaggio. They met through mutual Adam Sandler and then Lou introduced Nick to LARRY FREAKIN' DAVID! Lou actual had a role in season three of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Pretty much all improv and just an outline of a script. Larry David is a freakin’ conductor. The guys actually used to do their own baseball podcast together back in the day. Everything comes full circle! The two also once wrote a script together called "Living Large with Nick Turturro"... maybe that was it... who the heck remembers. It almost sold, but Nick got too wild and excited during the pitch. We all know there's no holding Big Nick back when he gets going! Lou has been all over the biz, though: stand-up, writing, acting, you name it. He actually just had a documentary about him come out called “Where Have You Gone Lou DiMaggio.” He was coming up back in the day on the stand-up circuit. Then he moved to LA and got into writing. Makes sense, he’s a smart guy. But now, he's getting back into stand-up and hitting up The Comedy Store. Oh, and if you run into Lou on the street, get him to do his Robert Duvall impression from Godfather! IT’S BRILLIANT! Welcome to your new favorite podcast! Big Nick shows off his collection of Yankee and baseball memorabilia, which includes an INSANE hat and jersey collection. As a kid, he was lucky to even have one. Certainly making up for lost time! But we gotta take a second for Nick Nick to hold a bat right. DON'T CHOKE UP ON THE DAMN THING SO MUCH! Then we have a special interview with former Dodgers 3rd baseman, the Ron Cey himself, to talk over historic battles between the two teams. This man is a legend! He's won penants, hit 316 home runs and played in the 1981 World Series against the Yankees! Hey, we're Yanks fans through and through, but you gotta show respect.
