(Replay) Gennaro Angiulo Part 1- The last of Boston's true mafia kingpins, he ruled the Boston underworld with an iron fist for decades Feb 13, 2023

Gerry Angiulo and his brothers ruled the Boston mafia for generations. He was often stereotypical, He was loud and obnoxious, he was often cruel to the people who committed crimes for the family, calling them suckers. Gerry's big mouth was his Achilles heal and the FBI knew it. They installed an illegal wiretap at one of his bar's in the combat zone in the early 60's, this confirmed that Gerry was "The Man" in Boston. The FBI took its time, but eventually they focused on him and his brothers. Gerry had an uncanny head for numbers and he parlayed that skill to become the "underboss" of the New England mafia, however he had to become a "made" member of the mob first. The Angiulo's lead the mob during what has been described as the heyday of Boston organized crime, the amount of money Gerry generated for the Mob was unprecedented and will likely never be repeated. Join us for part one of this criminal saga.

Lindsay and her husband Patrick seemingly had it all, high powered jobs, a home in a very affluent Boston suburb and most importantly three beautiful babies. She was engaged in what appeared to be intensive treatment for postpartum depression. On Tuesday January 24, 2023, Patrick went out briefly to pick up a take out dinner from a local shop. He returned a short time later to find his wife had allegedly killed his daughter Cora 5, his son Dawson 3 and Callen 7months, she then jumped from a second story window in, what some say was a suicide attempt. Lindsay, will likely be arraigned for three counts of homicide in the coming days. There seems to be a groundswell of support for her, is it deserved?

All outward appearances indicated that Ana Walshe was living the American dream. She worked in high end real estate and had amassed an impressive real estate portfolio by herself. But her husband appeared to be a con man. He was awaiting sentencing on an art fraud case. Ana had been believed to be the victim of domestic violence previously. She may have been waiting for her husband to head off to prison, before she divorced him. Ana disappeared on New Year's Day and hasn't been seen since. The couple's three children were placed in state custody. Brian Walshe was arrested for murder last week. His internet searches alone will provide overwhelming evidence in this case. (Replay) Tracy Gilpin -In 1986 Tracy went to a party and walked toward home with friends, she never arrived Jan 01, 2023
    Show notes

Tracy Gilpin was a typical teenager in Kingston, Massachusetts. She was walking home from a local party with friends. Her friend's homes came up quicker than Tracy's. She even called the party host for a ride home, however the she didn't come. Tracy went missing and her body was found in the Myles Standish State Park in neighboring Plymouth, Ma. She had a massive head injury and there was signs of sexual assault. Tracy Gilpin was 15 years old and her family was devastated. The case went cold very quickly and it seemed the case would never be solved. In 2018 the police received a tip about a former resident Michael Hand. Mr. Hand was arrested after a quasi-confession, however he attempted to blame this horrendous crime on another infamous Kingston resident, Henry Meinholz. Old fashioned police work appears to have solved this cold case after almost 40 years. The case is scheduled for trial later this year.

99 Massacre Part 2-One of Boston's most notorious crimes could have been easily avoided Dec 25, 2022
    Show notes

    Send a text

Five shot during the lunch rush, four died on scene. Anthony Clemente thought he was saving his son and his cousin by coming to the ninety-nine pub and opening fire on a booth of local mafia. But, investigation revealed the men were unarmed. Anthony could have easily secured his son and cousin and simply departed the area, as he was armed and his enemies were not. The desire was to kill not protect, this desire was fulfilled in the most grotesque fashion. Boston Police called this shooting a beef between local morons. If this massacre was an effort to save Damien Clemente and Victor Perez, it failed. Both Damien and Anthony were quickly convicted and are serving life without parole.
