Dorothy’s life has been a long and winding road, full of multiple roadblocks that tested how she came to terms with the interruptions. Facing off against a melanoma diagnosis, as well as a divorce that presented itself amidst the chaos, Dorothy used this time to find wisdom
and listen to her dreams, creating a much longer life path for herself than was predicted by the doctors.
Answering the call for adventure in her 40s, and choosing life on the road in her 60s, Dorothy refuses to settle for anything less than enriching new experiences. By learning exactly how to “handle the sh*t that happens,” Dorothy picks up insightful tidbits of wisdom over the years, which she fervently shares with our listeners. While befriending her “battles,” chasing wonderful moments of coincidence, embracing ever-evolving perspective, and choosing to examine interruption, Dorothy relates her lessons to her most impactful life events, and encourages listeners to continue learning. After all, “life is a classroom!”
