    Fabinho special: Brazilian's rise to Liverpool stardom via Mourinho, Mbappe, Monaco and more May 05, 2021

And finally, Rich Allen from Get French Football News outlines how Fabinho progressed at AS Monaco under Leonardo Jardim, alongside the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva, becoming a big part of one of the most exciting, attacking teams of the modern era.     The Academy Show: Mateusz Musialowski and Max Woltman impress as Jurgen Klopp watches FA Youth Cup success May 04, 2021

    Liverpool reached the FA Youth Cup semi-final on Friday night by beating Arsenal 3-1 at Anfield with goals from Max Woltman, Mateusz Musialowski and James Norris. So in the latest edition of The Academy Show, Matt Addison joins Guy Clarke to discuss Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's side reaching the last four of the competition, where they will take on Ipswich Town. After hearing from Reds U18s boss Bridge-Wilkinson, Matt and Guy focus in on the performances of the goalscorers, Woltman and Musialowski, as well as James Balagizi, Billy Koumetio and Jarell Quansah. Matt also has a chat with Football London's chief football writer, Alan Smith, about Liam Millar, who is on loan at Charlton Athletic from Liverpool.

    Jurgen Klopp has given the latest update on the fitness of Virgil van Dijk, Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip ahead of the visit to Manchester United. Speaking to the media, Klopp revealed all four are back out running, but remain someway from full training with the rest of the squad. The German also spoke about the club taking part in the social media blackout and the importance of the cause before speaking about the trip to Old Trafford. With the Reds in much need of points in their battle for a top four finish Klopp was asked whether or not now is an ideal time to be taking on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side. Enjoy.

    April 2001 saw Liverpool reach two cup finals, in the form of the FA Cup and UEFA Cu, seeing off Wycombe Wanderers at Villa Park and Barcelona over two legs in Europe to reach the finals in Cardiff and Dortmund respectively. Between those were three crucial league games in Gerard Houllier side's bid to secure a top-three finish culminating in one of the greatest Merseyside derbies in Premier League history.
