Post Game: Trent Alexander-Arnold Thunderbolt secures three points as Roberto Firmino returns | Liverpool 3 - 1 Newcastle Dec 16, 2021
    Show notes

3 goals from Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah, and a Trent Alexander-Arnold ensure Liverpool took all 3 points against the Magpies, after they took an early lead through former Red Jonjo Shelvey.
Hello and welcome to the post game podcast with me your host Patrick Smith on a night where Liverpool once again showed their ability to win ugly and scrap for three points in the Premier League title race.
Despite the three key absentees, the Reds kept up their title charge and remain just one point behind leaders Manchester City, but now have a three point gap over Chelsea who remain in third after being held by Rafa Benitez’s Everton (still sounds weird doesn’t it).
We’ll have all the reaction to the win at Anfield, with Paul Gorst’s Verdict, Jurgen Klopp’s Press Conference and the thoughts of the Reds fans Samuel Thomas, Mike Holt and Ross Strachan.
    Enjoy.

Analysing Anfield: Klopp v Gerrard, Newcastle Preview & Which 2 Liverpool players could Howe sign? Dec 16, 2021
    Show notes

Welcome back to the Analysing Anfield Podcast on the Blood Red channel with Josh Williams and David Hughes!
This week's episode centres around Liverpool's fifth consecutive Premier League win, as they scraped past returning legend Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa side.
The pair reflect on the Reds' performance, and acknowledge the accuracy of their pre-match analysis - something they hope will prove true with their preview to Thursday's Newcastle game.
With mention of Eddie Howe's Bournemouth record against Liverpool (more notably transfers than results) the pair comment on Newcastle's chances and key danger-men.
There's also some transfer talk, and coincidentally the Reds could offload a pair of players to the Magpies in positions they seemingly need.
All this and much more, on the Analysing Anfield Podcast.

Post-Game: Jurgen Klopp gets the better of Steven Gerrard on his Anfield Return | Liverpool 1 - 0 Aston Villa Dec 11, 2021
