Behind Enemy Lines: Liverpool looking to get at leaky Arsenal backline with hallmarks of yesteryear for those at Anfield Jul 15, 2020
    Show notes

Liverpool travel to Arsenal this evening, still looking to reach 100 points in the Premier League. The Reds head to the Emirates knowing they need seven points from the final nine on offer to become centurions. Ahead of the match, Guy Clarke - our regular host of the Post-Game podcast and more recently Blood Red too - gives us the lowdown as an Arsenal supporter, speaking with Matt Addison. From reaction to the North London derby defeat on Sunday to the shaky backline at Arsenal, which bares resemblance, in more than one way, to that of Liverpool's from yesteryear. Plus, what impact has Mikel Arteta had and is he the man to return the Gunners to their former glories? Enjoy.

Analysing Anfield: Instinct around Firmino’s Liverpool drought as Salah puts shooting boots on Jul 14, 2020
    Show notes

Roberto Firmino is one of the first names on the team-sheet for Premier League, European and World champions Liverpool. But after failing to find the net in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Burnley, it means the Brazilian striker still hasn't scored a league goal at Anfield since March 2019. So Josh Williams and the returning Kristian Walsh dig into the underlying statistics to exanube why that is the case in the latest episode of Analysing Anfield. They also cast their eye over the stalemate with Burnley and the win at Brighton, which brought back memories of Jurgen Klopp Liverpool sides of the past, before the must-watch podcast rounds off by previewing tomorrow's trip to Arsenal.

Breaking News: Manchester City FFP Champions League ban overturned Jul 13, 2020
    Show notes

Manchester City have had their two-year Champions League ban overturned and fine lowered by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. City had been issued the ban in February after Uefa found they had committed 'serious breaches' of Financial Fair Play regulations between 2012 and 2016. But the ban has been overturned after Cas cleared the Manchester club of "disguising equity funds" through sponsorship deals done. City have been fined 10m euros. However, that is reduced from their initial 30m euros fine. Join Guy Clarke and Matt Addison as they discuss the implications of the ruling for Pep Guardiola's side, their biggest rivals Liverpool, and the integrity of the financial model moving forward.
