Welcome to my new & improved podcast! Kidding, kind of. This is now the podcast formerly known as 'The Gossip Girl Podcast' which is now, 'The Real Housewife of The Westside' podcast because, well, I am actually a Housewife (the non-Bravo kind) and I live on the Westside of Los Angeles, ergo, new title. Initially the premise of my podcast was sharing gossip and juicy stories about Bravolebrities and random celebs, which, don't worry, we're still gonna cover! However, I realized there was a beauty in sharing my own stories too, whether salacious or just raw and real, I want to get it all out there, because we're really all pretty similar, we've all got SHT! The best part is, when other people share their sht, you don't feel so alone, or crazy, or in some cases mildly psychotic. This is all really just to explain the name change, and the premise change too.
So, this first episode is a bit of a catch up of how I got to where I am today, why I chose to get VSG or the Gastric Sleeve Surgery, the background of my lengthy history with food, weight and an Eating Disorder and where I'm going. I'll definitely go deeper into everything as time goes on, but, I think this is a pretty quick catch up for where I'm at now at least.
