Show notes
With Dexter Resurrection on the horizon, we thought it would be fun to drop our coverage of New Blood for anyone who is watching for the first time or rewatching before the big premiere!

@bingetowntv is back this week and today we have a special treat for all of you @sho_dexter fans!
Yesterday, the day after we learned the fate of our favorite serial killer, we had the pleasure of speaking with Dexter: New Blood Executive Producer and Director Marcos Siega ( @msiega ) !
Marcos has been flooded with messages (both good and bad) from fans wanting answers about the finale and he came to Bingetown to answer these questions and discuss the finale with us.
The conversation was so jam-packed that we had to break it up into two parts! But don’t worry, we will get part 2 out for you guys tomorrow!
In this episode, we discuss:
- What happened to Edward Olsen (Oil daddy)?
- Were there any other scenes with Batista shot or considered?
- Does Marcos think Michael C. Hall would return as Dexter or is this the end?
- Changes made to the big scene between Harrison & Dexter.
Plus MUCH more!
We can’t thank Marcos enough for chatting with us! He is super passionate about his work and the fanbase and he was open and honest about all topics and questions we asked. This is the kind of director we want working on our favorite shows and we can’t wait to see what project he works on next!
