Oregon Hunter Fired a Warning Shot—Then Saw Its Face Oct 20, 2026

He fired a warning shot. The growling continued. Then he saw its face—about ten feet away.
David Boozer returns to Bigfoot Society to share his son’s reported Bigfoot encounter near Rock Creek in Oregon’s North Umpqua region. A deer hunt took a frightening turn when two young hunters heard a childlike sound, heavy movement through the brush, and a deep growl that David’s son said he could feel through his body.
Then came the mustard-yellow eyes.
David joins Jeremiah Byron to recount the close confrontation, his son’s friend firing at an approaching figure, and a frantic escape down the mountain. Later that night, the friend’s father reportedly returned to investigate. Afterward, he told his son: “We don’t talk about this anymore.”

An Oregon mother tried calling 911 as mysterious knocking moved closer from two directions. Her children were beside her. A tree whipped back and forth in the nearby thicket. Then they spotted a large, dark shape—and her phone had no signal.

Fisherman Watched Bigfoot for 15 Minutes Near Mt. Jefferson Oct 15, 2026

For 15 minutes, a fisherman watched a tall, reddish-brown figure gathering cattails from an Oregon mountain lake. Then the wind shifted—and it looked directly at him.

Mother Sees a 7-Foot Figure Step Onto a Trail Near St. Louis Oct 14, 2026

A mother hiking with her two children near St. Louis spots a face watching them from the brush. Then the figure stands up.
On this episode of Bigfoot Society, Lori recounts an encounter on Missouri’s Howell Island that left her focused on one thing: getting her children back to the truck. What she noticed about the figure’s face makes her account especially unsettling.
More witnesses share unexplained experiences across the country: an Oregon firefighter-paramedic hears screams during a nighttime emergency call, a Georgia fisherman watches a massive figure cross the Chattahoochee River in roughly three steps, and two trail cameras disappear from a baited site while the remaining camera is found turned around. Texas Bowhunter Takes Aim—Then an 8-Foot Figure Runs Out Oct 12, 2026

Show notes

An eight-foot figure ran into a Texas bowhunter’s clearing just as he prepared to draw on his target buck. The deer fled. The figure stopped, snorted, lifted its nose, and ran in the same direction. The hunter says he has never returned.
In Bigfoot Society Episode 1217, Marlon shares his 2019 encounter near Kennard, Texas, close to Davy Crockett National Forest. His account begins with disappearing wildlife sightings, repeated trail-camera alerts, and an unexplained nighttime bellow. When his hunting partner sees something that leaves him shaking, Marlon heads into the woods alone—and experiences a sighting that ends their trip.
Plus, Jax recounts a family camping experience near Ariel, Washington, where something reportedly ran behind their tent for ten minutes, screamed, and shook the ground. Daylight revealed broken branches and enormous impressions in the dirt. On Washington’s Larch Mountain, another witness describes coming face-to-face with a massive figure on a snowy logging road, then finding tracks that ended in an open clearing.

His Rottweiler Started Crying. Then Something Followed Them for Miles Oct 11, 2026

His Rottweiler started crying. Branches snapped on both sides of a Washington forest trail. As he hurried toward his car, something followed him and his dog for miles.
In Bigfoot Society Episode 1216, a former forest firefighter recounts the morning walk that ended with two brown, hairy heads visible above the bushes. Local acquaintances had warned him about the “tall people” moving through those woods. He says he returned the next day and discovered footprints in several sizes.

Father and Son Went Fishing—Then Something Swam Toward Them! Oct 09, 2026

A father and son go fishing at an isolated Illinois quarry pond. A creature growls from the opposite bank, jumps into the water, and begins swimming toward them.
In Bigfoot Society Episode 1215, author and longtime nurse John Reiners shares this reported 1983 encounter from Jackson County, Illinois—a place the previous owner had kept off limits to his own family. What happened there left the fishermen running for safety and their grandfather with questions of his own.
John also recounts his personal Kentucky encounter: a massive, hair-covered creature chasing a buck on all fours before rising onto two legs. That night launched a search for answers that eventually led to his newest book, Aquatic Sasquatch.

Filmmakers Recorded Strange Howls in Shawnee National Forest Oct 08, 2026

Strange howls answered their calls in the Illinois woods. Moments later, they heard snapping—and a thunderous crash.
