Linda Sigman and her adopted son, Chris Parsons, live in Parkersburg, West Virginia in prime Sasquatch habitat. They live on the side of a mountain, surrounded miles of forest. One of Linda’s favorite pastimes is going for walks, deep into the woods, with her faithful companion, Phoebe. Phoebe is a feist dog that’s quick to let Linda know if any large animals come near, while they’re on their walks. Sometimes, you don’t have to go into the woods looking wildlife, however. Sometimes, what lives in the forest comes to you. That fact was reinforced one night when Sasquatch laid siege to Linda’s home. Tonight’s guest, Mary, had her first Sasquatch sighting when she was only 4 years old, growing up in Portland, Oregon. She didn’t just see one of them either. It was fall and she was playing on a two-story fort at the time, 3 doors down from where she lived. Before she knew it, she had a group of Sasquatch, of various ages, around her. One of them even grabbed her, by her shoulders, and screamed in her face! There were several details from that experience that were missing from her memory until she consulted a hypnotherapist. After the consultation, she recalled several other things that happened during that encounter. That’s not the only sighting she’s had, however. Years later, when she was an adult, she watched a female Sasquatch step into her living room in a very strange way. We hope you’ll listen to her share the details about those two encounters and more.

Tonight’s guest, Raven Hawk, is a Native American shaman, who has been practicing shamanism her whole life. You’d think that a shaman would believe in Sasquatch, but that didn’t used to be the case with Raven. She didn’t believe they were out there. That is, until she moved into a rustic cabin, in the foothills of the mountains of Idaho. Her disbelief in the existence of Sasquatch was more a function of comfort for her than anything. That’s because the idea that she might run into one when she was outside, late at night, terrified her. Years later, after she had been living there, the Sasquatch in the area made their presence known. At first, she started seeing juveniles. Later, she came to know a male Sasquatch that she came to call “Tahaji.” When she first saw Tahaji, he was small, as far as Sasquatch go. Now, though, his head is about 18 inches across and he’s absolutely huge! It’s funny how time changes things. Raven actually looks forward to seeing him. We hope you’ll listen to her talk about the experiences she’s had with him, as well as the juvenile Sasquatch around her cabin, she calls “the kids.”

On June 8th, of 1991, tonight’s guest, Darin Richardson, was 16 years old and participating in a civil war reenactment, in the foothills of Mt. Rainier, in Washington State. Close to midnight, Darin walked with his dad back to where his van was parked because that’s where his dad was going to sleep. Darin was planning to sleep in a tent, in the period camp where the other actors planned to sleep. Not long after he’d turned back, to go back to the period camp, he had an experience that was life-altering for him. He had his 1st Sasquatch sighting. The experience motivated him to write two books about Sasquatch and it made him decide to start a Bigfoot-specific podcast. His podcast was called Bigfoot Mystery.
