This week’s Shoot Around tips off with some conversation about unconventional sports. Rob loves tennis but never played golf, B-Dog would be a pro bowler and Jenners has taken up Pickleball. We also answer a question about our favorite high school memories – Rob looks back at his first dunk in a game during his freshman year of high school. Plus with the Finals upon us, people want to know about Rob’s favorite memories of playing in the NBA Finals, and he says his 2005 Game 5 performance in San Antonio against Detroit was his best memory. The debate about Jewel’s National Anthem, and Aaron Rodger going to Taylor Swift in New York with a bunch of buddies prompts the question… what show would you go to with a group of friends? Rob wants to go to Public Enemy or get wild at a Two Live Crew show back in the day, and we all talk about the first live concerts we ever went to. What would you do on an airplane if a crazy passenger pulled the emergency door like in South Korea last week? And we close out with a battle of the primes – Prime Shaq or Prime Dream, and Prime Kobe or Prime LeBron.

We open this week’s show with a recap of the WILD end to the Eastern Conference Finals, and Rob admits he doesn’t feel bad for the Celtics because he’s a Jimmy Butler fan. And while the Internet debates if Eric Spoelstra would have lost his job if the Heat blew a 3-0 lead, Rob says no way because he’s too good of a coach. We also get breaking news during the show that Bob Myers steps down as the Warriors GM and we wonder if the new GM will be loyal to Klay and Draymond as contracts come due. And Rob asks if you’d rather be the Miami Heat, who are rolling off a big win – or the Denver Nuggets, who’ve been resting for a solid week? Rob says they lost to the Sixers in 2001 because they were resting too long. The 76ers hire former Raptors head coach Nick Nurse, we have yet another Scottie Pippen intervention, and in the debate between a prime Nikola Jokic vs a prime Dwight Howard of course Dwight picks himself, but does he have a point? Plus the NFL’s new kickoff rule SUCKS, a Big Shot of the Week to Robert Horry’s momma, and another hilarious round of Walmart or Waffle House!

Rob’s current unemployment prompts a quick discussion about NBA coaches being shown the door too early, and memes about KD and Ja Morant on the bench. And following the Prince Harry paparazzi drama in New York, we asked Rob if he ever had a run-in with them, or had a teammate that did. While Rob did not, he does share a WILD story about a stalker that followed him around and contacted his family – scary! That does lead us into a funnier encounter about a stalker in Owen Wilson’s house who was wearing his pajamas, and we all want to know who wears pajamas?! B-Dog also brings up a list of things that “Real Men Can’t Do” and Jenners immediately has a LOT of issues with this list. Plus the “pineapple on pizza” debate rages on as we all battle for the best pizza toppings, we lay out what people would be invited on our hypothetical super yachts, and what is an acceptable buy at the dollar store. Finally with the passing of NFL legend Jim Brown we all weigh in with our all-time favorite football players. We open the show with the fallout from Los Angeles after the Nuggets swept the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, and how Rob is now unemployed until he gets a new contract with Spectrum. Rob was also in the building for Game 4 and talks about how he noticed the Nuggets hyping each other up and how good Jokic was when he was needed. That also stems from Mike Malone’s coaching, which Rob also says was way better than the Lakers game plan. Rob also does NOT buy the rumor that LeBron wants to retire, and also doesn’t buy the rumor that the Lakers are looking to trade for Trae Young. We also try to figure out where Anthony Davis was most of the series, how no one is buying the LeBron “retirement” rumors, and what it would take for the Lakers to actually trade for Trae Young. Plus the Heat have been playing amazing basketball, probably part of the reason why Jalen Brown isn’t happy in Boston anymore. Nike pulls Ja’s shoes, Carmelo leaves a legacy, San Antonio quietly wins again, and a dope Big Shot of the Week to a young man who saved a bus full of middle schoolers. And Rob and B-Dog face off in a hilarious round of Rapid Fire!

We open the FINAL episode of the show by discussing the lackluster NBA All-Star Game, and Robert admits he hates it and thinks they should scrap the entire weekend. Rob admits that all the players want the accolades but treat it like a thorn in their side, and Mac McClung made a name for himself by winning the Dunk Contest. And Vernon Maxwell's reaction to the game in Salt Lake City was hilarious. We also discuss Jordan Clarkson's bling, how Rob has none because that's not who he was, and his flashiest teammate was Shaq. Rob also really disagrees with the Hawks decision to move on from Nate McMillan because Rob thinks Nate is a great coach and a great person, and feels like players like Trae Young need to fall in line and become better teammates in order to find success in Atlanta. We also discuss Russell Westbook in LA with the Clippers, where Rob says he'll have to fall in line with Kawhi and Ty Lue to succeed.
