The big, noisy mess of the Goblin Market gets even more complicated as our performers meet more of its denizens. The capricious, immortal denizens of Faerie love entertainment as much as the next person--perhaps even more than the next person--and when there are no hapless mortals to prank and/or kidnap, how can they stave off boredom? By attending the travelling circus, of course! It's time to assemble a troupe of performers to tour Under Hollow Hills, and they're bound to be unique, even by Faerie's eccentric standards... Big Gay Nerds: Episode 180 (Beam Saber 1.7) Dec 02, 2020

Show notes

Our second mission comes to a close in a flurry of bullets, blades, and bullshitting, with the dice swinging in all directions to make things as chaotic as possible! Big Gay Nerds: Episode 179 (Beam Saber 1.6) Nov 25, 2020

Show notes

Things kick off in the Forget-Me-Nots' second mission when Boss's genius plan to split the party somehow complicates things! Both halves of the squad are now face-to-face with ADVERSE/PR0XY mechs while they try to transport precious cargo. Can they talk and/or fight their respective ways out of this one? Listen to find out!

Big Gay Nerds: Episode 178 (Beam Saber 1.5) Nov 11, 2020

Show notes

The Forget-Me-Nots have a new job on their hands, and while it's not as immediately dire as a hostage situation, the chain of command has put them out of their element: escorting a team of scientists and their confidential experiment away from a potential ambush. This is complicated by the fact that 1. the scientists don't like the FMNs because they want their experimental dog-mech, 2. the ambushers are teenage mercenaries from Stiletto's alma mater, and 3. this is all happening adjacent to some very fragile marine animals. Will a little advance planning be enough for whatever their enemies (and allies) have in mind?

Big Gay Nerds: Episode 177 (Beam Saber 1.4) Nov 04, 2020

Show notes

Having successfully completed their mission--though not quite the way they were supposed to--the Forget-Me-Nots retire to the Humboldt Estate to lick their wounds, look into personal affairs, and prepare for their next assignment. For some reason or other, a solid 33% of this involves trying to employ a furry doctor with a secret history of homicide. Listen on to find out what the hell I'm talking about!

Big Gay Nerds: Episode 176 (Beam Saber 1.3) Oct 28, 2020

Show notes

As the Forget-Me-Nots' hostage negotiation with the Honeybee pirates progresses, complications begin to arise. Boss keeps pressure on their leader while Golden Boy and Stiletto attempt to mingle with the crew, and meanwhile Red finds herself in a game of cat (or, more appropriately, dog) and mouse. The only thing that could make things more tense would be if a deadly rival from someone's past were to arrive, but luckily that's impossible.
