Job and the Great Pyramid: Biblical Witness in Stone | Ryan Pitterson - Episode 264 Dec 15, 2025
    Show notes

The Great Pyramid of Giza stands unlike any other structure in Egypt—without hieroglyphs, pagan dedications, or burial remains. In this episode, Scott Mitchell and John Potts are joined by author Ryan Pitterson to examine whether Scripture reveals the Great Pyramid as a biblical witness rather than a monument to the Pharaohs. Through careful comparison of Scripture, language, and prophecy, the discussion considers Job, foundations, cornerstones, and how God may have left a testimony in stone pointing to Christ and the New Jerusalem.

    Key Scriptures (KJV)

    • Isaiah 19:19–25
    • Job 38:6
    • Isaiah 28:16
    • Luke 4:9–12
    • Ephesians 2:20–22
    • Daniel 2:45
    • Revelation 21:1–3
    • Galatians 4:26
    • Ephesians 3:14–19

    Discussion Highlights

    • Why the Great Pyramid stands apart from every other Egyptian pyramid
    • Isaiah’s prophecy of an altar and pillar to the Lord in Egypt
    • God’s use of architectural language when speaking to Job
    • The biblical meaning of cornerstones, pinnacles, and foundations
    • Hebrew and Greek word connections pointing to Christ as the chief cornerstone
    • The significance of the missing capstone and the rejected stone
    • The empty stone coffer and its connection to resurrection imagery
    • Whether the Great Pyramid points forward to the New Jerusalem
    • The possibility that Job was a royal figure familiar with divine architecture
    • How God reveals mysteries in His timing through Scripture and creation

    About the Guest

Ryan Pitterson is the author of The Judgment of the Nephilim and The Final Nephilim, with a forthcoming book titled The Earth Before Adam. His work focuses on biblical prophecy, the coming antichrist, pre-Adamic history, and the spiritual conflict revealed through Scripture.

    Why This Episode Matters

Scripture calls believers to compare spiritual things with spiritual. This episode challenges traditional assumptions about ancient monuments by placing the Bible at the center of interpretation. Rather than exalting human achievement, the discussion asks whether God established a witness in Egypt that aligns with His redemptive plan revealed from Genesis to Revelation. From Glory to Glory in Christ: From Adam’s Image to Christ’s Dec 14, 2025
    Show notes

Man was created in the image of God, but that image was altered when sin entered the world through Adam. Scripture makes clear that humanity now bears the image of Adam—a fallen image that cannot be restored by the law or human effort. This Bible lesson explains how God’s redemptive plan in Christ restores what was lost, moving believers from glory to glory through the power of the Spirit. The lesson contrasts the temporary glory of the Mosaic Law with the surpassing glory of the New Covenant and reveals the believer’s present transformation and future glorification in Christ.

    Key Scripture Focus (KJV)

    • Genesis 5:3 – “Adam begat a son in his own likeness, after his image…”
    • 1 Corinthians 3:17–18
    • 2 Corinthians 3:5–18
    • Exodus 24:12
    • Jeremiah 31:31–33
    • Matthew 26:26–28
    • Hebrews 9:15
    • Galatians 3:24–25
    • Romans 3:19–26
    • Romans 8:2–4
    • Romans 8:29
    • Philippians 3:20–21
    • James 1:25

    Key Teaching Points

    1. The Image of Adam

    • Humanity was created in God’s image, but after the fall, that image was no longer passed down.
    • Scripture teaches that all men now bear the image of Adam, a fallen nature in need of redemption.
    • The law exposes this fallen condition but cannot correct it.

    2. The Glory and Limitation of the Law

    • The Mosaic Law was given with glory, written on tables of stone.
    • Its purpose was not salvation, but condemnation—revealing sin and leading sinners to Christ.
    • The law served as a schoolmaster, not a source of righteousness.

    3. The New Covenant in Christ

    • God promised a new covenant written on the heart, not on stone.
    • Jesus Christ is the mediator of that covenant through His blood.
    • The New Covenant brings righteousness, life, and liberty through the Spirit.

    4. From Glory to Glory

    • The glory of the law fades, but the glory of Christ remains.
    • When the heart turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.
    • Believers are being transformed into the image of Christ by the Spirit—not by works, but by faith.

    5. Present Transformation and Future Redemption

    • Spiritual transformation is ongoing in the believer today.
    • God has predestined believers to be conformed to the image of His Son.
    • At Christ’s return, the body itself will be changed and fashioned like His glorious body.

    Doctrinal Emphasis

    • Image of Adam vs. Image of Christ
    • Law of Moses vs. Law of the Spirit
    • Condemnation vs. Righteousness
    • External law vs. Internal transformation
    • Present sanctification vs. future glorification

    Key Takeaway

The image of Adam is temporary. The image of Christ is eternal. Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers are being changed from glory to glory, moving from condemnation under the law to liberty in the Spirit, and ultimately to full redemption at His return.

The Shadow of Egypt and the Last Days: A Prophetic Look at Worldly Seduction - Episode 263 Dec 08, 2025
    Show notes

This episode examines The Shadow of Egypt as presented in Scripture, especially in Isaiah 30. Egypt serves not only as a historical nation but as a spiritual representation of the world’s false security. Israel repeatedly sought shelter under Egypt’s shadow instead of trusting the Lord, creating a pattern that mirrors the challenges facing the Church in the last days. Scott presents historical context, prophetic parallels, and warnings for believers navigating modern spiritual deception.

    Key Themes Covered

    Egypt as a Biblical Symbol

    • Egypt represents the world’s allure—offering temporary protection but drawing God’s people away from truth.
    • Isaiah 30 exposes Israel’s misplaced trust in Pharaoh’s strength rather than in God’s counsel.
    • The Hebrew word for shadow (tsale) highlights the fragile, momentary nature of worldly refuge.

Historical Patterns of Reliance on Egypt

    • Abraham, Jacob’s sons, and Israel during the Exodus all experienced seasons tied to Egypt’s influence.
    • Though God delivered Israel with signs and judgments, they turned back in their hearts to Egypt’s comfort.
    • These accounts illustrate the tension between divine deliverance and human longing for the familiar.

Typology: Egypt, Pharaoh, and the Antichrist

    • Pharaoh becomes a model of the future Antichrist—exalting himself as divine and opposing the people of God.
    • Revelation echoes this imagery, warning of a coming ruler who offers false protection to the nations.
    • The plagues of Egypt foreshadow the judgments of the tribulation.

Nephilim, Ancient Gods, and Spiritual Conflict

    • The gods of Egypt were not harmless myths; Scripture reveals spiritual entities behind them.
    • The episode touches on historical associations between Egypt’s deities and the Nephilim.
    • Prophecy points to the return of these ancient powers in a final rebellion against the Lamb.

    Modern Parallels in the Church

    • Many believers face the same temptation Israel faced—seeking worldly answers instead of biblical truth.
    • Cultural pressure, false teachings, and spiritual compromise function as a modern “shadow of Egypt.”
    • The episode urges discernment and calls listeners to remain anchored in Scripture.

Prophetic Perspective on the Last Days

    • Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Revelation offer insight into Egypt’s role as both a place of judgment and a future participant in God’s plan.
    • Israel’s reliance on Egypt becomes a template for end-time apostasy.
    • The Antichrist’s rise reflects the same pattern of misplaced trust that defined ancient Israel.

    Scripture References (KJV)

    Isaiah 30:1–5 • Genesis 12:10; 13:1–2; 26:1–3; 46:26–27 • Numbers 9:9–14 • Exodus 1:7–12; 12:12 • Deuteronomy 5:15 • Acts 7:37–41 • Hebrews 11:24–28 • Revelation 11:8–10; 17:12–14 • Ezekiel 31:1–7 • Matthew 2:13–15

    Episode Takeaway

Egypt’s shadow may seem appealing, but it cannot withstand the judgment of God. Scripture calls believers to reject the world’s deceptive refuge and embrace the reproach of Christ. The same spiritual battle that shaped Israel’s history now shapes the last days, and the warnings given through Egypt’s symbolism remain vital for today’s Church.

The Secret of the Lord Part 7 – The Dispensation of the Fullness of Times Dec 07, 2025
    Show notes

In this final installment of The Secret of the Lord series, Scott Mitchell explains how God’s plan becomes clear only when Scripture is rightly divided. Confusion enters the Church when the gospel of the kingdom is blended with the gospel of the grace of God, leading believers into the instability Paul warned about. This lesson highlights the distinction between Israel’s earthly kingdom and the heavenly hope of the Body of Christ, showing how both programs culminate in the dispensation of the fullness of times, when God gathers all things in Christ.

Scott teaches that the secret of the Lord is revealed to those who fear Him, walk in covenant through Jesus Christ, and are faithful stewards of His mysteries. By comparing Scripture with Scripture, the believer can see God’s unfolding purpose for Israel, the church, and the ages to come.

    Key Scriptures (KJV)

    Psalm 25:14; John 10:14–16; Matthew 15:24; Matthew 25:31–34; Matthew 16:15–18; Acts 20:28–31; Ephesians 4:4–6; Ephesians 3:3–6; Colossians 1:16–18; Ephesians 2:14–18; Ephesians 1:9–11; Ephesians 2:19–22; Galatians 4:26–28; Revelation 21:1–4; Revelation 21:9–11; 1 Corinthians 4:1–2

    Main Themes

    Rightly Dividing the Word

    • Blending the gospel of the kingdom with the gospel of grace leads to misunderstanding and deception.
    • Paul warned of false teachers and spiritual instability arising from failing to divide Scripture accurately.
    • The Greek connection between steward (oikonomos) and dispensation (oikonomia) underscores the believer’s responsibility to handle God’s Word faithfully.

The Two Folds of John 10

    • Jesus identified two folds of His sheep: Israel and the “other sheep” who would also hear His voice.
    • Paul reveals the mystery that Gentiles are fellow heirs and part of the same Body.
    • One church exists, yet with distinct inheritances for Jews and Gentiles.

Israel’s Kingdom vs. the Church’s Hope

    • Israel’s promised kingdom awaits fulfillment when Christ returns to judge the nations and sit upon His throne.
    • The Body of Christ does not look for an earthly kingdom but for the blessed hope—the catching away of the church.
    • These programs remain distinct but move toward one ultimate purpose.

The Dispensation of the Fullness of Times

    • God will gather all things in heaven and earth into one in Christ (Ephesians 1:9–11).
    • Revelation 21 reveals the new heaven, new earth, and New Jerusalem—the eternal dwelling of God with His people.
    • The unity of God’s people in eternity does not erase their prophetic distinctions but displays the perfection of His plan.

    Faithful Stewardship

    • Believers today are stewards of God’s mysteries and must guard the doctrine committed to them.
    • Understanding dispensational truth dissolves confusion and strengthens spiritual stability.
    • The current dispensation of grace is nearing its conclusion, emphasizing the urgency of salvation through Jesus Christ.

    Takeaway

God’s plan for Israel and the Church becomes clear when Scripture is handled with reverence and precision. The Secret of the Lord is seen in the distinctions He established and in the unity He will bring when all things are gathered in Christ in the dispensation of the fullness of times. This lesson calls every listener to remain faithful, grounded, and ready for the Lord’s return.

Mystery Mailbag #17 - Rapture Timing, False Religion, and Rewritten History Dec 04, 2025
    Show notes

In this installment of the Bible Mysteries Podcast Mystery Mailbag, Scott answers a new round of thoughtful questions submitted by listeners through email, comments, and social media. The conversation spans prophecy, doctrinal interpretation, and the spiritual forces shaping our world today. Below is a topic-by-topic breakdown of the key discussions.

    1. UN Peace Treaty and the Start of Tribulation
Erica Davis asked about a rumored seven-year UN peace treaty that some claim signals the beginning of the tribulation.
Scott noted that political headlines do not fulfill prophecy on their own. According to Scripture, the rapture of the church must occur first, followed by major prophetic markers such as the Gog invasion. He cautions against assigning prophetic weight to current agreements without scriptural confirmation.

    2. Understanding the Nature of Eternity
Dylan Vest raised a question about eternity and how believers can grasp it.
Scott acknowledged how difficult the subject is for the human mind, describing it as trying to perform brain surgery without full data. He referenced Revelation 21 and other passages showing that time continues in some measurable way, even in the new creation.

    3. Islam and the Coming One-World Religion
Cindy Posadich asked whether Islam might be part of a future one-world religion or government.
Scott explained that all man-made religions share the self-righteous pattern established by the “way of Cain.” Rather than one religion dominating, he believes the end-times system will merge all false religions into a global counterfeit faith.

    4. Modern Israel and Biblical Prophecy
Devin Wienecki questioned whether today’s political state of Israel represents the Israel of prophecy, citing Genesis 12:3 and Ezekiel.
Scott stated that the modern nation is not the fulfillment of God’s promised Israel. God has used nations and leaders throughout history, but the true “Israel of God” will only emerge after the tribulation when a remnant turns to Christ.

Gerhart Meritz also mentioned claims that Jews today are not God’s chosen people. Scott reiterated that while God’s covenant with Israel is real, the present secular state is not walking in that covenant.

    1. Timing of the Rapture
Linda, via Brad Rowland, sought clarity on the rapture’s placement within prophetic events.

Scott affirmed his long-held view of a pre-tribulation rapture. He emphasized that the church must be removed before God’s wrath is poured out, noting the distinctions between different dispensations revealed in Scripture.

    1. Rewritten History and the Nephilim Narrative
Don Sullivan recommended a YouTube channel examining how history—especially regarding the Nephilim—has been rewritten.
Scott agreed that history is routinely shaped by victors and elites. He acknowledged significant gaps and distortions in historical records, especially concerning ancient events and spiritual narratives.

    2. Reconciling Ice Ages with Scripture
Leslie Holman asked how Ice Age theories fit within a biblical worldview.
Scott shared that evolutionary interpretations often obscure simpler explanations. He believes climatic changes caused by the global flood in Noah’s day created the conditions for an Ice Age, rather than multiple prehistoric epochs.

    3. Satan in God’s Presence
Lorraine Blood inquired how Satan could appear before God if God is holy.
Scott clarified that the account in Job does not imply Satan entered the Lord’s throne room. Instead, God required Satan to give an account, but not in His holy presence where no unclean being can stand.

    Conclusion
Mailbag #17 brought wide-ranging questions that touched on prophecy, doctrine, and the unseen influences shaping the modern world. Scott reinforced the importance of grounding interpretations in Scripture rather than news cycles, recognizing the limits of human understanding regarding eternity, and maintaining clarity about God’s prophetic timeline.

Listeners are encouraged to continue sending questions—your curiosity shapes these episodes and helps guide future studies.

The Eye of Understanding - Hebrew Keys to Knowledge with Jeff Dodson - Episode: 262 Dec 01, 2025
    Show notes

In this episode, Scott welcomes Jeff Dodson to examine the biblical meaning of knowledge through the lens of Hebrew. As part of the four foundational “walls” of worship, wisdom, prayer, and knowledge, this discussion focuses on how the Hebrew language provides clarity that modern translations often lose.

Jeff shares how Hebrew structures meaning through concrete imagery, particularly the symbolism of the ayin—the eye—which connects perception with understanding. Together, Scott and Jeff explore Hebrew terms such as yada and da’at, revealing how Scripture presents knowledge as discernment, awareness, and skill, not merely information.

The conversation also addresses the degradation of language over time, the challenges created by today’s flood of information, and the importance of applying wisdom to distinguish between truth and deception. From confirmation bias to technological influence, the episode underscores how the believer must navigate knowledge in a world designed to distort it.

Listeners will also hear about Jeff’s upcoming Hebrew learning sessions for premium subscribers, offered to help restore a deeper grasp of biblical meaning.

    Key Topics Covered

    • The biblical framework of knowledge as one of the four spiritual “walls”
    • How Hebrew conveys layered meaning through letters, patterns, and imagery
    • The difference between yada (perceived knowledge) and da’at (skilled or discerning knowledge)
    • The role of the ayin (eye) in shaping the concept of understanding
    • Language degradation and its impact on scriptural interpretation
    • Discernment in an age of misinformation, social media, and digital overload
    • The growing influence of AI on knowledge acquisition
    • Why studying Hebrew strengthens clarity and guards against deception

    Key Scriptures (KJV)

    • Proverbs 1:7
    • Daniel 12:4
    • Proverbs 2:6

    Links & Mentions

    • Bible Mysteries Premium Subscription
    • Upcoming Hebrew sessions with Jeff Dodson

    Conclusion

True knowledge begins with the fear of the Lord and grows as believers seek clarity through His Word. Understanding Hebrew reveals the depth behind Scripture’s instruction and strengthens discernment in a world clouded by confusion. This episode calls the listener to pursue God’s truth with diligence, wisdom, and a steady eye toward understanding.

The Secret of the Lord Part 6: Distinguishing the Gospel of the Kingdom and the Gospel of Grace Nov 30, 2025
    Show notes

In this lesson, we continue our study of The Secret of the Lord by addressing one of the most misunderstood subjects in the modern church: the distinction between the Gospel of the Kingdom proclaimed to Israel and the Gospel of the Grace of God revealed to Paul. Understanding these two messages is essential for rightly dividing the Word of truth and resisting the confusion and apostasy now spreading across social media and popular Christian culture.

Psalm 25:14 reminds us that “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him.” God grants understanding to those who approach His Word with reverence, and Scripture clearly presents two distinct programs—one for Israel’s national salvation and one for the Body of Christ.

    Key Themes in This Lesson

    1. Israel’s National Salvation and the Gospel of the Kingdom

Jesus commissioned the twelve apostles to preach exclusively to Israel that the kingdom of heaven was at hand (Matthew 10:5–7). This message focused on Israel’s promised earthly kingdom, foretold by the prophets since the foundation of the world (Luke 1:68–72). Peter’s call for repentance and water baptism in Acts 2:36–38 was part of this national program, preparing Israel for their future restoration and priestly calling (Ezekiel 36:25–28; 1 Peter 2:9–10).

    2. The Gospel of the Grace of God Revealed to Paul

In contrast, Paul received a gospel “kept secret since the world began” (Romans 16:25–26). This heavenly calling brings Jews and Gentiles together in one spiritual body through the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 3:5–6; 1 Corinthians 12:13). Salvation in this program is by grace through faith, not works or covenant obedience (Ephesians 2:8–9). Paul’s commission did not depend on water baptism or ceremonial requirements (1 Corinthians 1:17).

    3. Why Mixing These Messages Creates Confusion

Blending Israel’s kingdom program with Paul’s mystery gospel leads to doctrinal instability and opens the door for false teachings. This confusion is widespread today, intensified by unlearned influencers online who ignore God’s divisions in Scripture. Rightly dividing the Word reveals God’s purpose for Israel and the Body of Christ without contradiction or loss of clarity.

    Scripture References (KJV)

    Psalm 25:14 Galatians 2:6–8 Matthew 10:5–7 Acts 1:6 Acts 2:36–38 Mark 16:15–18 Ezekiel 36:25–28 1 Peter 2:9–10 Ephesians 1:3 Ephesians 2:4–6 Ephesians 2:8–9 1 Corinthians 1:17 1 Corinthians 12:13 Luke 1:68–72 Acts 3:18–21 Romans 16:25–26 Ephesians 3:5–6 Ephesians 3:8–11 1 Timothy 2:3–7

    Summary

Scripture presents two distinct messages: the Gospel of the Kingdom for Israel and the Gospel of Grace revealed to Paul for all nations. Recognizing these differences brings understanding, anchors believers in truth, and guards against the apostasy rising in our day. All believers today are saved by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, apart from works, rituals, or national identity.

    Next in the Series

In Part 7, we will conclude The Secret of the Lord by examining the difference between our blessed hope and Israel’s promised thousand-year kingdom. All of God’s purposes in Christ will culminate in the dispensation of the fulness of times.

The Image of the Beast – Genetic Manipulation, Technology, and End-Time Prophecy - Episode 261 Nov 24, 2025
    Show notes

In this episode, Scott Mitchell and John Potts examine the biblical warning concerning the image of the beast in Revelation 13 and how it relates to a growing global movement toward genetic manipulation and technological control. Scripture teaches that mankind was created in the image of God, yet fell through sin and now bears Adam’s likeness. God’s purpose through Christ is to conform believers to the image of His Son. The adversary seeks the opposite—transforming humanity into the image of the beast.

Scott explains how the prophetic system described in Revelation may involve a physical and spiritual transformation, potentially altering human identity. This episode challenges the belief that mankind can achieve immortality or perfection apart from the Creator and calls believers to discern the deception forming in the world today.

    Key Scriptures (KJV)

    • Revelation 13:13–17
    • Genesis 1:26–27
    • Genesis 5:3
    • 1 Corinthians 15:46–49
    • Romans 5:18–19
    • 2 Corinthians 3:18
    • Genesis 9:6–7
    • Genesis 3:15
    • Revelation 14:9–11
    • Revelation 16:1–2
    • 2 Thessalonians 2:7–10
    • Daniel 2:43
    • Matthew 24:37–39
    • Revelation 19:19–21

    Key Themes in This Episode

    Created in God’s Image

Scripture declares that God made mankind in His image, granting identity, authority, and purpose. After the fall, all humanity inherited Adam’s corrupted likeness. Salvation restores believers spiritually and promises a future transformation into Christ’s image.

    A Rival Image

Revelation warns of a counterfeit image established by the beast. This image will speak, be worshipped, and be enforced globally. Those who refuse allegiance will be restricted from buying or selling.

    Genetic Manipulation and Identity

Scott discusses the growing belief by global elites that altering human genetics or merging technology with humanity can produce a superior or eternal form of life. The mark of the beast may involve more than a visible symbol; Scripture suggests a physical change that aligns a person with the beast’s nature.

    The Greek terms explored include:

    • χάραγμα (charagma) – an engraved or imprinted mark, branding, or carved image
    • εἰκών (eikón) – likeness, representation, or embodied image
These definitions point to a transformation far deeper than an external tattoo or implant.

Echoes of the Days of Noah

Jesus warned that the days before His return would resemble the days of Noah. The corruption of human identity in Genesis 6 provides a sobering parallel to modern efforts to alter humanity. Daniel 2:43 speaks of a final kingdom attempting to mingle with the seed of men.

    Economic and Social Pressure

Revelation describes a system in which economic participation depends on allegiance to the beast. Scott notes the growing push toward centralized control, digital identification, and global compliance.

    The Way of Cain

Religion, morality, or human effort cannot save. The way of Cain continues to deceive through self-righteousness and rebellion. Only faith in Christ delivers from the coming judgment. Cain bore a mark God gave him to warn us not to follow this way.

    Why This Matters

Those who take the mark will bear the image of the beast and face eternal separation from God. Scripture offers no indication of redemption after this transformation. Believers are urged to stand firm, remain spiritually alert, and trust in Christ’s finished work.

    Episode Conclusion

The image of the beast is more than an idol. It represents a deliberate transformation of humanity away from the image of God. As technology advances and genetic manipulation becomes normalized, the world edges closer to the system described in Revelation. Scott calls listeners to hold fast to the truth, avoid deception, and remember that God’s purpose is to conform His people to the image of His Son—not the image of a false system.

The Secret of the Lord Part 5: Israel Blinded, Grace Revealed Nov 23, 2025
    Show notes

In this Bible lesson, Scott Mitchell continues The Secret of the Lord series by addressing the growing apostasy within the modern church and online platforms. False teachers and influencers are spreading confusion for attention, but scripture makes clear that understanding the mysteries of God protects believers from deception. This teaching focuses on Israel’s temporary blindness and the current dispensation of grace revealed through the Apostle Paul.

Psalm 25:14 declares that the Lord reveals His secret to those who fear Him and enter into covenant through Jesus Christ. Scott explains how this hidden truth unfolds in God’s plan: Israel’s rejection of their Messiah opened the door for the gospel of grace to go to the Gentiles. Paul received a unique ministry directly from the risen Christ, preaching salvation by faith apart from the law.

Scripture shows that Israel’s blindness was foretold and is only “in part” and “until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.” God has not replaced Israel. The kingdom program is paused, not canceled, and national restoration will occur when the Lord returns. Today, both Jew and Gentile are saved individually through the gospel of grace, not through the Mosaic law or national covenant.

This lesson emphasizes why rightly dividing the Word of Truth matters. Confusing the gospel of the kingdom with the gospel of grace leads to legalism, works-based teaching, and doctrinal error. Understanding the Lord’s secret brings clarity, assurance, and confidence in Christ’s finished work.

    Key Scriptures (KJV):
    Psalm 25:14; Galatians 2:9, 11–13; Romans 10:1–4, 19–21; Romans 11:7–8, 11–15, 25–27; Ephesians 3:1–7; Matthew 13:10–17; Isaiah 59:20–21; Zechariah 12:9–10; Hosea 5:15; Jeremiah 31:31–34; Romans 5:8–10

    Key Points:

    • Apostasy and false teaching are increasing
    • Understanding God’s mysteries guards believers from deception
    • Israel’s blindness was prophesied and is temporary
    • Paul received a distinct revelation for the Gentiles
    • Salvation today is by grace through faith alone
    • The kingdom program is paused, not replaced
    • National Israel will be restored when Christ returns
    • Rightly dividing scripture prevents confusion

Mystery Mailbag #16 – Holy Ground, Hebrew Codes, and the Second Incursion Nov 20, 2025
    Show notes

In this edition of Bible Mysteries Podcast’s Mystery Mailbag, Scott Mitchell responds to another round of listener questions exploring both the revealed and the mysterious truths found in Scripture.

From Moses’ encounter on holy ground to theories about the Nephilim, fallen angels, and salvation through grace, this episode invites thoughtful reflection on what the Bible reveals—and what it leaves veiled.

    Topics Covered:
    Moses and Holy Ground:
Why did God ask Moses to remove his sandals? Scott explains this act as one of humility and reverence—standing spiritually barefoot before the Lord rather than drawing earthly energy.

    The Seed War Connection:
Revisiting the topic of the “seed war,” Scott reflects on its prophetic implications in Scripture and prior guest discussions, even referencing past collaborations that touched on this ancient conflict between the serpent’s seed and the woman’s.

    Rahab and Mars Theories:
Responding to listener insights referencing Timothy Alberino, Scott discusses the debated concept of the planet Rahab and whether the asteroid belt hints at a cataclysm linked to angelic rebellion or pre-Adamic history.

    The Divine Blueprint of Hebrew:
Could the Hebrew language itself be a divine code or structure, similar to a spiritual periodic table? Scott considers the symbolism and mystery behind how God’s Word communicates creation and meaning.

    Eden’s Hidden Realm:
Exploring the possibility that Eden still exists but is veiled from human perception, Scott reflects on how Adam and Eve’s fall may have altered humanity’s ability to see into other realms.

    Nazi Eugenics and Modern Parallels:
A sobering discussion on the occult roots of Nazi ideology and how present-day genetic manipulation might echo those dark ambitions to distort God’s creation.

    Assurance of Salvation:
A new believer expresses fear of not keeping every commandment. Scott emphasizes that salvation rests not on perfection but on faith in Christ’s finished work.

“Many Are Called, Few Are Chosen”:
In examining Matthew 22:14, Scott clarifies that while salvation is offered to all, few accept it—a sobering truth about human choice and divine grace.

    Dreams, Churches, and Guidance:
When asked about interpreting dreams and finding a church, Scott encourages discernment and reliance on local church communities for wisdom and counsel.

    Nephilim Lineage After the Flood:
Scott addresses whether Nephilim DNA survived through Ham’s wife, distinguishing between theories he finds speculative and his own belief in a post-flood second incursion of fallen angels.

    Further Insights-
    Second Incursion Theory:
Scott leans toward a later angelic incursion as the most plausible explanation for the reappearance of giants after the Flood.

    Female Nephilim Possibility:
Challenging common assumptions, he notes that Genesis 6 may imply both male and female hybrids, expanding our understanding of these controversial passages.

    Sodom and “Strange Flesh”:
Could the sin of Sodom have involved unnatural unions akin to those in Genesis 6? Scott considers this possibility while keeping the discussion grounded in Scripture.

    Respect for Differing Views:
Scott acknowledges respected colleagues, including researcher Ryan, and reminds listeners that honest inquiry and mutual respect are vital to uncovering truth.

    Key Scriptures Referenced:
    Exodus 3:5 • Genesis 6 • Matthew 22:14 • John 3:16 • Revelation 20 • Romans 5:8

    Episode Highlights:
“Taking off your shoes before God is not about the earth’s energy—it’s about surrender and reverence before the Creator.”

“The seed war continues in every generation; it’s the spiritual battle behind world events.”

“Salvation is not earned by effort—it’s secured by faith in Christ alone.”

“We can disagree on theories and still seek the same truth: what God’s Word actually says.”

    Closing Thought:
From ancient mysteries to modern questions, every inquiry leads us back to the same foundation—God’s Word. Scott encourages listeners to stay curious, study diligently, and trust in the Lord’s revelation through Scripture.
