As tensions rise between Israel and Iran, many wonder if these events signal the fulfillment of Ezekiel’s prophecy. Together, Scott and Ryan examine where these wars fit in God’s prophetic timeline, the true identity of Gog, and how believers should respond in faith.

How Gog represents a recurring spiritual adversary across history
The role of Iran (Persia) and other nations mentioned in prophecy

The Mystery of the Curse Part 1: Biblical Origins, Global Impact, and Redemption Through Christ Jun 23, 2025

Show notes

In this first installment of a two-part series, we explore the sobering reality of the curseas revealed in Scripture. The Bible teaches that a curse—both currently active and soon to be fully unleashed—has devoured the earth as a result of mankind’s rebellion. But where did it begin? Who does it affect? And most importantly, how can anyone escape it?
We trace the biblical origin of the curse back to the Garden of Eden, examine its unfolding through Israel’s history, and confront common misconceptions about modern-day blessings and curses. This episode shines a light on the spiritual consequences of sin and the futility of trying to gain righteousness through the law.
Drawing from Genesis, Deuteronomy, Romans, and Galatians, we uncover the truth that salvation does not come by works or national identity—but only through faith in Jesus Christ, who became a curse for us by being hanged on a tree.
If you're ready to see the Bible in a new light and understand what God has truly revealed about judgment, blessing, and redemption, this episode is for you.

Scriptures Referenced:

Genesis 3:17-19
Genesis 8:21-22
Genesis 12:1-3
Deuteronomy 11:26-28
Deuteronomy 27:14-26
Deuteronomy 30:1-14
Isaiah 24:5-6
Romans 3:19-23; 10:5-9
Galatians 3:7-16

Key Topics:

What is the biblical definition of a curse?
How the curse originated with Adam’s sin
Why the earth remains under judgment
The truth about Israel, blessings, and modern misconceptions
Faith vs. the law: what truly redeems us
Christ’s role in removing the curse
Preparing for the judgment to come

Takeaway: The curse is real—and it’s still in effect. But there is hope. Jesus Christ took the curse upon Himself so that you might be free. Believe on Him today and be saved.Read the companion blog: The Mystery of the Curse: A Biblical Reality Unfolding

Why the World Is Divided – A Prophetic Teaching on Spiritual Conflict

Show Notes:

Welcome to a special bonus episode from our Unlock the Bible Sunday Bible Study series. These teachings go deeper into the Word of God and are typically available only to our subscribers—ad-free and accompanied by in-depth Study Notes to help you rightly divide the Scriptures.

In this lesson, Scott Mitchell teaches on the prophetic reality of spiritual division in today’s world. While the media highlights political, national, and cultural divides, the Bible reveals the true division is over Jesus Christ—the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Referencing Luke 12, Revelation 6, Hosea, Galatians, Romans, and more, this message explores how global unrest and even support for modern Israel can be misunderstood without a proper biblical lens. Learn what prophecy truly says about Israel’s reconciliation, the New Covenant, and the urgency of salvation in these last days.

Overview
In this study, we examine the biblical foundation for the global division we witness today—not as a result of politics or nationalism, but as a prophetic consequence of rejecting Jesus Christ. Division was foretold by Christ Himself and continues to manifest in every sphere of society. This lesson challenges you to see beyond surface-level conflicts and recognize the spiritual line that has been drawn: belief or unbelief in the true Messiah.

Scripture Focus

Luke 12:51–53 – Jesus declares He brings division, not peace
Revelation 6:3–4 – The red horse: peace taken from the earth
John 10:7–21 – Israel divided over Christ
Romans 11:25–29 – God’s covenant with Israel and their future reconciliation
Galatians 3:7–16 – Who are the true children of Abraham?
2 Corinthians 5:17–21 – Reconciliation through Christ
Jeremiah 17:1–14 – The heart is deceitful; trust must be in the Lord

Key Concepts for Study 1. The Division Jesus Declared “Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division.”– Luke 12:51

Jesus anticipated that belief in Him would cause households and nations to divide.
Peace is not possible without the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

2. A Spiritual Battle, Not Political

The red horse in Revelation symbolizes a global removal of peace—spiritual unrest spreading.
National conflicts mirror deeper spiritual opposition to God’s plan.

3. The Rejection of the Messiah “There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.” – John 10:19

The split began in Israel, and it continues globally—between those who accept Christ and those who don’t.
Romans 11 reminds us that Israel’s blindness is temporary and part of God’s redemptive timeline.

4. Understanding God’s Covenant

Not all who are of Israel are Israel (Romans 9:6).
Galatians 3 makes clear: the true heirs of Abraham’s promises are those of faith, not flesh.
Support for Israel must be grounded in the gospel—not in national identity alone.

5. The New Covenant Reality

Reconciliation is only possible through Christ (2 Cor. 5:18).
The new heart promised in Jeremiah can only come by spiritual rebirth.

Study Questions Reflect on these individually or in a group:

What did Jesus mean when He said He came to bring division?
How does understanding spiritual division reshape how we view world events?
In what ways does Galatians 3 challenge traditional views of God’s covenant with Israel?
How does your faith align with God's plan for reconciliation through Christ?
Are you trusting in political systems or in the finished work of Jesus?

Word Study Suggestions

Division (διχάζω / dichazō) – to cleave asunder, to cause dissension
Reconciliation (καταλλαγή / katallagē) – a change or exchange; restoration to favor
Seed (σπέρμα / sperma) – singular in Galatians 3:16, referring to Christ

Application

Ask the Lord to reveal any areas where you have placed hope in the wrong systems—national, political, or religious.
Pray for discernment in understanding God's prophetic Word in light of today’s events.
Share the gospel, not nationalism. Christ—not borders—is our banner.

Further Reading & Meditation

Isaiah 59:20–21
Hosea 6:1–2
Zechariah 12:8–10
Daniel 9:11
2 Timothy 2:15

Closing Encouragement “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ…” – 2 Corinthians 5:20 Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. Recognize that the greatest division in history is not between nations, but between those who know Christ and those who reject Him. Our call is to be ministers of reconciliation in a world that desperately needs it. Read the companion blog: Why the World Is Divided: Spiritual Division in Prophecy Explained

Current Events and Fearful Sights in Heaven - Karin Wilkinson Sounds the Alarm Jun 16, 2025

Show notes

In this episode of Bible Mysteries, Scott Mitchell welcomes back author and researcher Karin Wilkinson to address growing signs of deception and spiritual warfare unfolding in both the heavens and on the earth. Drawing from her personal experiences detailed in Stolen Seed, Evil Harvest, Karin brings a sobering update on the dark spiritual agenda working behind the veil of current events.

Together, Scott and Karin confront:

The growing fallout of the Epstein scandal, and what the suppression of truth by the elites reveals about the world system.
False prophets and religious deception: from Pope Leo XIV to claims of the Muslim Mahdi.
What the Bible calls “fearful sights in heaven”—are these merely natural phenomena, or are portals being opened through man’s technology?
The rising influence of UFO disclosure, CE5 practices, and alien worship, especially among younger generations.
The spiritual consequences of space exploration: should humanity be reaching for the Second Heaven?
Masonic symbolism, secret societies, and their connection to Nephilim strongholds and generational spiritual bondage.
Why media and children’s entertainment—like the animated film Elio—may be preparing a generation to embrace contact with non-human entities.

With increasing reports of UFO encounters, demonic phenomena, and elite manipulation, Karin issues a direct warning: the deception is no longer subtle. It’s bold, visible, and escalating—and believers must be rooted in Scripture, discerning in spirit, and prepared for the days ahead.

Scott ties these insights back to biblical prophecy, including references to Romans 8:28, Genesis 6, and the teachings of Paul concerning spiritual warfare and end-time deception.

This episode is a wake-up call to the Body of Christ to remain vigilant, sober-minded, and unwavering in truth.

The Eyes Have It: Uncovering the Link Between Sanpaku Eyes, the Evil Eye, and Spiritual Darkness Jun 09, 2025

Show notes

Episode 239 - The Eyes Have It: Uncovering the Link Between Sanpaku Eyes, the Evil Eye, and Spiritual Darkness

Description:
Can the appearance of a person’s eyes reveal something about their spiritual condition? In this thought-provoking episode, Scott and John explore the mysterious concept of Sanpaku eyes—a condition where the white of the eye shows prominently above or below the iris—and its possible links to mental instability, demonic influence, or spiritual darkness. Rooted in Japanese face reading, Sanpaku eyes have sparked speculation across cultures, and even in modern media. While no scientific proof connects this trait to psychopathy or possession, could Scripture offer symbolic clues? Join us as we examine what the Bible says about the evil eye, greed, covetousness, and the spiritual state behind the gaze.

In This Episode, We Explore:

The origin and meaning of Sanpaku eyes in Eastern traditions
Cultural claims about this eye trait in famous and infamous figures
What Jesus taught about the eye being the lamp of the body (Matthew 6:22–23)
Biblical definitions of the “evil eye” and its ties to greed and moral corruption
Can spiritual darkness manifest in physical expressions?
The difference between superstition and scriptural discernment
How believers can guard their own spiritual “vision” in a darkened world

Scripture References (KJV):
Matthew 6:19–23
Luke 11:34–36
Deuteronomy 15:7–11
Deuteronomy 28:53–59
Proverbs 23:1–8
Proverbs 28:22
Matthew 20:15–16
Mark 7:20–23
Mark 9:47–48

Key Takeaway:
While Sanpaku eyes may stir curiosity, there is no biblical or scientific evidence to confirm a direct link to demonic control or mental illness. However, Jesus warned of the evil eye—a heart consumed by covetousness and spiritual blindness. As always, Scripture challenges us to look beyond appearances and discern the truth with spiritual clarity.

The Holographic Universe Theory: Is Our Reality a Projection? Biblical Insights into a Quantum Physics Mystery Jun 02, 2025

Show notes

In this thought-provoking episode, Scott Mitchell and John Potts examine the Holographic Universe theory—a concept from quantum physics that suggests our three-dimensional reality could be a projection from a two-dimensional source. First introduced to them by L.A. Marzulli, the theory raises profound spiritual questions. Could modern science be unintentionally uncovering truths long concealed in Scripture?

Though Scott and John approach the topic as Bible students, not physicists, they explore how this theory may mirror the layered design of the universe described in God’s Word. From the firmament in Genesis to the heavens departing in Revelation, the Bible reveals a multi-dimensional reality far richer than the material world we perceive.

Scriptural Themes Explored:

The Increase of Knowledge in the End Times “...even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” — Daniel 12:4
The Firmament as a Barrier or Boundary “And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters...” — Genesis 1:6-8 “The heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein...” — Nehemiah 9:6
The Heavens as a Temporary Structure “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together...” — Revelation 6:14 “All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll...” — Isaiah 34:4-6
Spiritual Realms Beyond Human Perception “I knew a man in Christ... caught up to the third heaven.” — 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 “He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.” — Ephesians 4:10
Destruction and Renewal of Creation “The heavens shall pass away with a great noise... the earth also and the works... shall be burned up.” — 2 Peter 3:10-13 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth...” — Revelation 21:1-2
The Wisdom and Mystery of God’s Design “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!” — Romans 11:33-34 “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.” — Psalm 18:30-31

Discussion Highlights:

What is the Holographic Universe Theory, and how does it relate to the biblical firmament?
Could scientific discovery be brushing up against the spiritual structure God created?
Are the heavens, as described in Scripture, a kind of divine projection?
How do concepts like the “third heaven” support a multi-layered cosmology?
What does the Bible say about the current creation being rolled away and replaced?
Is our perception of space and time intentionally limited?

Today’s Pharisees: From Cain to the Beast—A Lineage of Deception May 12, 2025

Show notes

In this episode, Scott and John explore the enduring influence of the Pharisees—religious leaders Jesus openly condemned for their hypocrisy. But the spirit behind their actions didn’t die in the first century. It’s alive today, operating through modern religious systems rooted in man-made tradition, spiritual blindness, and rebellion against God’s truth.

Tracing the lineage of deception from Cain to the Pharisees and forward to today’s untoward generation, the hosts reveal how false religion continues to shape doctrine, confuse believers, and prepare the world for even greater apostasy.Key Topics Covered
The legacy of Cain and the origins of false worship
Pharisees as religious deceivers and blind guides
What Scripture calls an “untoward generation” (Acts 2:40)
Dispensational distinctions: Peter’s message vs. Paul’s gospel
How modern churches reflect ancient Babylonian systems
The danger of religious systems that lack spiritual fruit
What true worship and obedience look like in this age of graceScripture References (KJV)
Genesis 4:1–8 – Cain’s offering and rebellion
Jude 1:10–11 – The way of Cain
Matthew 3:7–12 – John the Baptist rebukes the Pharisees
Matthew 5:20 – Righteousness exceeding that of the Pharisees
Matthew 7:15–23 – False prophets in sheep’s clothing
Matthew 12:22–37 – Jesus confronts their blasphemy
Matthew 23:13–15, 27–33 – Woes pronounced on the Pharisees
Acts 2:38–40 – The “untoward generation”
Genesis 6:9; 7:1 – Righteousness in Noah’s generation
Deuteronomy 1:34–37 – Unbelief in the wilderness
Hebrews 3:7–11 – Hardened hearts of a rebellious generation
Ezekiel 31:3–18 – Assyrian pride and its fall
Ezekiel 34:12 – God seeks His scattered sheep
Proverbs 23:31–32 – The cup that bites like a serpent
Acts 4:12 – The only name by which we must be saved

Takeaway
Religious tradition alone will not save you. The way of Cain—rooted in pride, self-righteousness, and man-made worship—lives on through religious systems that reject God’s truth in favor of appearance and control. The Pharisees were called vipers and children of the devil for a reason: they promoted religion over righteousness.

Now more than ever, we must be discerning. True faith is evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit—justice, mercy, love—not religious performance. Stay rooted in the gospel of grace and the rightly divided Word of God.
