    *Unlocked* Dead Reckoning #1 Aug 12, 2022
    Show notes

The first episode in the Dead Reckoning bonus series deals with the wreck of the Nottingham Galley in 1710 on the rocks at Boon Island off the coast of Maine. Stranded for weeks with no provisions, no way to build a fire, and no viable chance of escape, the men grew desperate.

So desperate, in fact, that the men of the Nottingham Galley turned to the bleakest of last resorts - cannibalism.

Episode 70 - Admiral Nakhimov (Адмирал Нахимов) ft. Jamie/Old Shipping Lines Aug 07, 2022
    Show notes

    **correction**
During the episode Tanner refers to the HMAS Voyager colliding with the Frank E. Evans, when it was in fact the HMAS Melbourne that was involved in separate collision incidents with both the Voyager and the Evans. Apologies for any confusion! Listen back to Episode 24 for the full story of the Melbourne and the Voyager.

    Show notes

This week we travel to Japan to discuss the misfortunes of the Spanish galleon San Felipe, stranded on the coast of Japan in 1596. The incident would be the catalyst for the persecution of Christians in Japan and a major contributing factor in the nation's isolationist foreign policy that lasted until the 19th century.
