2021 CAMP, DAY 1: Ron is angry with WFT's vaccination rate, Logan Thomas gets an extension and Curtis Samuel is on PUP Jul 27, 2021

Show notes

JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey are comin' at you from Richmond(!!!!), sight of Washington training camp (until they head back to Ashburn at the end of the week). And, unfortunately, they have to focus on a negative storyline to begin, because Ron Rivera is MAD about his squad's poor vaccination rate. After recapping the coach's opening presser, which was dominated by COVID talk, the guys do get into Logan Thomas' new contract, which everyone loves (just like the Jonathan Allen deal). BUT, unfortunately again, the trio has to discuss something negative, as they react to Curtis Samuel opening up camp on the PUP list, which is a development that occurred as they were recording. So, yeah, there was a lot to delve into. If you like podcasts where Pete crashes and burns when going through Thomas' contract details and the ever-popular One Thing segment returns, then this is the episode for you.

2021 WFT TRAINING CAMP PREVIEW: Covering the NFL's new COVID rules, upcoming position battles and WAY more Jul 23, 2021

Show notes

For the last time before embarking to Richmond for training camp, JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey got together for a Washington Football Talk ep. In this installment, which was recorded LIVE at Ourisman Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Alexandria, Va., the hosts — and their raucous crowd — cover the NFL's new COVID policies, a note on Terry McLaurin's contract, the best competitions that'll occur at camp, and, because why the hell not, Aaron Rodgers. After ALL that concludes, you'll get JP's 1-on-1 interview with Jaret Patterson, an undrafted running back who you will immediately begin rooting for after hearing his him talk about what it'll meant to suit up in Burgundy and Gold. If you like podcasts where Mitch re-litigates the Kirk Cousins debacle (just kidding, no one likes that) and there's a large discussion on what everyone would do if WFT won a Super Bowl, then this is the episode for you.
