MICHAEL LOHAN (on Lindsay, Dina, Family Misconceptions & Mean Girls!) Feb 07, 2024

Show notes

Michael Lohan steps Behind The Rope. So much has been written about, discussed and said about Michael Lohan over the years, we figured why not go right to the source to separate all the fact from fiction, dispel rumors and set many records straight. Michael talks about the misperceptions of Hollywood and the biz, Reality TV, Celeb Rehab, famous friends and more. Of course the convo quickly turns to daughter Lindsay - Mean Girls, her early days in the biz, reboots (yes, please!), the paparazzi, famous feuds, the media’s obsession, Parent Trap, Britney and Paris, his up and down relationship with Lindsay over the years, Dina Lohan and Lindsay’s life in Dubai as a Mom with Bader Shammas. As we like to say, Michael mentions it all in a raw, open convo like you have never heard him before.

Show notes

Lisa D’Amato, from America’s Next Top Model, steps Behind The Rope. Holding nothing back, Lisa is here to tell it all. Did someone say Bethenny Frankel and Reality Reckoning? Looking back at this blast from the past chat, Lisa recalls every single thing Bethenny is now talking about loudly. Lisa chats about what living in the model house was really like, the competitiveness of her fellow model contestants and the pressure she felt from producers while filming. She chats about ANTM judges Miss J, Nigel Barker, Twiggy and last, but certainly not least, Janice Dickinson as well as about Creative Director Jay Manuel. Lisa confirms and debunks many of the vicious rumors heard over the years about the tension on the set and the “my way or the highway” rumored attitude of Tyra Banks. Leaving no detailed spared, Lisa explains how she felt she was treated by Tyra and Producers, the good, the bad, the other. There was a lot of bad and a lot of other. We discuss! Of course there was also her product pitch on Shark Tank, where she got a deal with the one and only Miss Barbara Corcoran. She takes us behind the scenes of Shark Tank and all the shenanigans taking place behind the scenes off camera. Part II starts now!
