Brittany Cartwright’s Villain Era, Kelly Dodd’s Selfishness & VPR New Cast Reboot Sep 05, 2024

Show notes

Vicki Gunvalson had a near death experience, Housewives fans have mixed reactions and Kelly Dodd made the scary encounter all about her. Shocking, we say sarcastically. Speaking of Kelly Dodd, she had some family drama of her own which we break down and discuss. In other news, a new potential villain has emerged over in the VanderVerse as Brittany Cartwright files for divorce days after Jax exits rehab and heads for the Valley. Jax was served on air for all of us to witness when Season Two of this show returns which leaves us asking the only question that matters, what does Kristen Doute think of all of this? Jax Taylor hits paparazzi hot spot with Valley co-star Jesse Lally - who is also going through a divorce, plays victim and continues to film hoping all, we think, gets captured on camera. Finally, Vanderpump Rules the next generation plans to air as one final season of the OGs is rumored to be in the works. Truly, we cannot keep up. Whew!

Show notes

Attention Behind The Velvet Rope listeners. I’m jumping into your regularly scheduled listening to tell you that the biggest names in entertainment share with actress Cush Jumbo the stories that made them who they are today. From the most influential figure in fashion, Anna Wintour to Golda Rosheuvel of Bridgerton and David Schwimmer of Friends to many more, I think you’ll really enjoy hearing these never before heard stories on her new podcast, “Origins with Cush Jumbo.”

From the innocence of childhood to the realness of adolescence, and into the challenges they face today, these celebrities narrate their life story, revealing the experiences that have defined them—a journey through the defining moments of those from Hollywood and beyond.

With Cush's deep connections in the industry and her rich background as an acclaimed actress (The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Criminal Record), she effortlessly guides these conversations, offering listeners an intimate look at the formative years of the world’s most renowned personalities.

Check out this clip from one of the episodes where Golda Rosheuvel of Netflix’s Bridgerton shares her journey from being the captain of every sports team in school—dominating hockey, netball, athletics, and swimming, even training for the Olympics—and a twist that eventually shaped her illustrious acting career.

RHONJ Future (What We Want!), VPR’s Looming End, Erika Jayne’s “Dating Show” & Why No One Likes Louie Ruelas Sep 04, 2024

Show notes

As rumors about the future of RHONJ continue to swirl - some true, some semi true and some pure fiction, we break down where we are with this fractured cast and whether any can return months, if not years from now if the show does indeed return. In other fractured show news, we discuss the likelihood that anyone from the current cast will continue, whether Scheana and Lala will make their desired splash on The Valley, who else from VPR may end up on another LVP show, whether any other spin offs are in the works and whether it is fair to blame Ariana for the possible cancellation of the show in its current form. We discuss why no one seems to like Louie Ruelas, TreHuggers included, whether this upcoming summer in The Hamptons could be Lindsay Hubbard’s last season of Summer House, Erika Jayne’s much needed “dating show”, the upcoming return of RHOBH and so very much more as we are joined by the one and only Morgan Paige Wright from Morgan’s Pop Talks!

Teresa’s Words of Warning For Frank Catania, Shocking Claims About Joe Gorga & John Janssen’s Positive Effect on Shannon Beador Sep 02, 2024

Show notes

Another day, another bunch of fake RHONJ rumors about Tre, Mel and the future of the show. In other RHONJ news, Teresa has a very stern new message for Frank Catania, shares shocking news about her brother Joe, urges for a certain past RHONJ to return and much more in a series of recent interviews. The fans react, share their thoughts and scream loud that they will not watch RHONJ if the Tre Huggers' Queen returns. Heading west, Emily Simpson shares what happened off air with Shannon and Alexis this season which was edited and not seen, John Janssen coming into Shannon’s life is possibly the best thing, in retrospect, that could have ever happened to her and a newly engaged Alexis and Johnny J continue to flaunt their love as fans, cast and Bravo execs react and weigh in everywhere.

RHONJ (What Now?), Drama w/ Heather McDonald, Margaret Josephs, Kelly Dodd & Andy Cohen’s Fav Housewife Aug 31, 2024

Show notes

For everyone who did not attend our live show, which lasted over three long hours, no question was off limits. Having just watched one of the most toxic seasons of RHONJ a lot of questions were about RHONJ past, current and, most important, future. Who will return - Teresa or Melissa or Neither? We break all of that down in this Part Two of our live show which sold out earlier this month where no question was off limits and where we could not plead the fifth. From questions about the future of RHONJ, to our own personal break ups and make ups with Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin and other RHONJ staples, we spilled the tea leaving no stone unturned no matter what or who it exposed. If there is one thing we learned from this season of RHONJ, as they say, the truth shall set you free. Of course, we also chatted about this current season of RHOC, break ups and feuds with the likes of Heather McDonald and Kelly Dodd and discussed what we know about Erika Jayne’s role in RHOBH’s upcoming Season 14. All this and more as we share this Part Two today with you, our loyal Patreons. Hey, you may not be able to ask a live question, but at least now you can hear them all and, even more importantly, hear all of the answers. #enjoy
