Today, when you catch yourself getting angry or ruminating on your grievance (whatever it may be) say quietly to yourself: “Enough.”

Let that word be a reminder that Jesus’ desire for you is to will and work toward the good of others. In that moment, look for God’s help to come.

As you walk through today, look for wherever your will has been thwarted.
Pause and reflect on the deeper issue of your anger, and pray and inviting the Holy Spirit into that moment with you.
Resist the urge to ruminate on the wrongs committed against you, instead ask God to take it away from you.

"Heavenly Father, purify my heart and help me to recognize you today."
