    Be Here For A While

Rachael O’Brien is a stand-up comedian/actress who has performed in 9 countries all over the world doing stand-up. Her self deprecating humor is at the center of the weekly show. On each episode, Rachael dissects the comedic moments in the lives and careers of her friends and notable entertainment industry personalities. She enjoys interviewing talent about their personal struggles and successes, learning more about tips and tricks on how to live a happy and successful life, diving into (and sarcastically analyzing) dating and relationships, and through all this, she loves giving her listeners weekly inspiration to reach their goals — or at the very least give them some laughs to get them through their day. O’Brien’s flourishing comedy career includes doing stand up worldwide in the most prominent comedy clubs and sharing the stage all-star comics including David Spade, Ali Wong, Bill Burr, Whitney Cummings and Judd Apatow, to name a few! Instagram: @rachaelnobrien
You can also follow and listen to her two other podcasts that delve into the world of True Crime, “Deadly Diocese” which is the active investigation into the mysterious death of a Catholic priest, just days before he was about to expose the Diocese of Buffalo for their sins….and then…. “Seven Deadly Sinners” which runs the gamut of cult leaders, to false preachers, to murderers all hiding under the false pretense of saints when they are masking their sinful lives.

    127: Modeling, Acting, Addiction & Recovery w/ Jennifer Gimenez Nov 22, 2018
    Show notes

Jennifer Gimenez joins Rachael today to talk about her EPIC life and career. Jennifer was discovered on the Santa Monica Pier by legendary photographer Bruce Weber at the age of 13. Her modeling career blew up and she was soon walking the runways of Paris and was the it girl for the famous designer Alaia. She was the youngest person to ever appear on the cover of Elle Magazine and starred in a documentary that was nominated for an Academy Award. She then turned to acting where she read with legends like Robert De Niro, competed for roles with Penelope Cruz and eventually had roles in movies like Blow w/ Johnny Depp, Vanilla Sky w/ Tom Cruise and many more. Throughout all of this though, she silently struggled with addiction, attempting to get sober several times. She finally had success at the facility where she met Dr. Drew which would ultimately be another turn in her career. She starred in both Sober House and Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew and has celebrated almost 15 years of sobriety. She's an inspiration about how you can be on top, hit rock bottom, and pull yourself out and have the life you always dreamed of.

126: How To Find Your Confidence w/ Katie Maloney Nov 15, 2018
    Show notes

My dear friend and Bravo's Vanderpump Rules Star, Katie Maloney joins me to talk about a subject that we all struggle with, CONFIDENCE. Both Katie and I have struggled with confidence at certain points in our lives, but Katie, has really come to an "ah ha" moment, almost enlightened, about the subject. She has been through it all, with negative comments on social media after being on a reality show, but her biggest struggle (and same with me) was the negative self talk we give ourselves. Well now, Katie "gives zero f&$ks" Maloney is here to tell you how she began to stop caring what others thought and started to care about what made HER FEEL BETTER. And how she turned her life and relationship around when she started to heal and find confidence from within. This is one of my favorite episodes. Take a listen.
