But with a moody full moon in Cancer blessing the month of January and an exhausting square between Mars and Neptune, not to mention a spaced out Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius, the devil is bound to have her say. Why not let the fallen angels have it? What's an indulgence or two or three between friends who haven't been to a homosexual house party in three years? Welcome, one and all, to Rose and Gala's shameless TV corner where we embrace the winter solstice in totality but laying on the couch and having a good cathartic media binge. Take a load off those strong lesbian shoulders while we discuss 12 Dates of Christmas and the tragic affliction of "main character energy." Mix up some fair-trade cacao while we kvetch about what's missing in the world of holiday romcoms. Kick off those Blundstones as we wax on about Melanie Lynskey as queer canon and her place in our hearts and role in Yellowjackets, the only good tv for medium-aged dykes. Yes, they recount the SATC reboot, but at what cost? Do Aquarians or Sagittarians talk more shit? This episode is a case study.
