Road to Atlanta - Episode 11 - 2019 Braves Organizational All-Stars with Matt, Gaurav, and Eric Jun 13, 2019

Show notes

In this week's episode of Road to Atlanta, we take a step back from all of the draft talk (we did that a lot in recent weeks and it is a sore subject for some of us....*cough* *cough* Matt *cough) and instead dive back into creating our midseason Braves' minor league All-Star rosters. This thought exercise helps us get a good handle on the top prospects in the system before we start incorporating the 2019 draftees into the mix ahead of our Top 30 Braves prospects list which will be coming out during the MLB All-Star break. It also highlights the strengths and weaknesses of the system....plus it is just fun to talk about prospects and making Dream Teams with them. Enjoy!

Road to Atlanta - Episode 10 - Complete 2019 Braves Draft Review with Eric, Matt, and Gaurav Jun 06, 2019

Show notes

In this week's episode, we touch quickly on the recent promotions of William Contreras and Greyson Jenista to Double-A which look a bit puzzling on the face of it but make a certain amount of sense in others. After that, it is all draft talk as we talk first in generalities about what we thought about the draft which wasn't exactly a glowing endorsement, but we at least understood the strategy (we think) and there are some definite benefits. After that, we look at the picks themselves from the high profile ones in Shea Langeliers and Braden Shewmake as well as the day two and three picks that could really make some noise for the Braves in the future. Enjoy!
