Road to Atlanta - Episode 35 - Interview with special guest and Braves outfield prospect Michael Harris Apr 08, 2021

Show notes

This week's episode of Road to Atlanta is a bit different. Minor league camp is just now getting underway and as we await minor league roster announcements and the start of the MiLB season, instead of just another mailbag episode, I figured that the best course of action was to reach out to one of the more asked about prospects in the Braves system and fortunately, he said yes. Michael Harris joins me (Eric) on the podcast right after practice to talk a bit about how things went for him at the alternate site last year as well as in Spring Training as well as what he is focused on right now going into the 2021 season. Its a shorter episode than usual this week, but we hope you enjoy hearing from the man himself. Enjoy!

In this episode of R2A, the elusive Garrett Spain makes his reappearance on the podcast and we took your minor league questions from the Twittersphere. A wide variety of topics were covered including differences amongst the staff in how we view prospects, Drew Waters, Braden Shewmake, the 2020 draft class and where they could start the season, and yes....Michael Harris was also discussed. This was a wide ranging podcast, so make sure to give it a listen and enjoy!

On this week's episode of Road to Atlanta, Gaurav and Eric sat down to take questions from you...the people. In what was supposed to be a fairly short podcast instead went long as we covered a wide variety of topics including Braden Shewmake's outlook, all things Michael Harris, bullpen options in the minor leagues, Braves prospect contract extensions, as well as who is the fastest Braves prospect. Road to Atlanta - Episode 32 - Reviewing the Talking Chop Top 30 Braves Prospects List Mar 12, 2021

Show notes

Spring training is well underway now, so it stands to reason that with all of this Michael Harris love going on right now that we should talk about why we ranked him so high on our Talking Chop Top 30 back in January. We have gotten asked a lot about an R2A to review the list, so here it is in a slightly abbreviated form. We talked about Harris, Makhi Backstrom, the guys that we think could fall off the list as well as guys that could jump on the list at midseason. Also, a brief Randy Ventura conversation happened for reasons we cannot explain. Enjoy!

Road to Atlanta - Episode 31 - Previewing the 2021 Braves Minor League Season Mar 05, 2021

Show notes

Ayyy....its good to be back. Despite my best attempts to destroy/misuse the technology around me, R2A is back at it with Gaurav, Eric, and special guest star Wayne Cavadi to talk minor league baseball and, specifically, Braves minor league baseball. Before we hit up the TC Top 30 review, we did want to get a MiLB preview show put up to line up with all of the preview content rolling out on Talking Chop over the last couple of weeks. We preview MiLB affiliates and assignments, who we are excited to see in 2021, and what we expect in terms of guys making the jump to the big leagues. Man, its good to be talking minor league baseball again. Enjoy!
