“Step One: Self-Love” with Pro-Witch Yassmin Fate Aug 26, 2020

Show notes

It’s a whole lotta love in this episode. We’re talkin’ self-love, baby! Leah brought on her confidence & self-love coach, pro-witch Yassamin Fate and the conversation was certainly fated to be a good one. We got deep into self-love, Deepak Chopra, shared our favorite wisdom from coaches over the years, and talked about Tony Robbins, including the controversy surrounding him. Rach realized capitalism is the root of our self-hate epidemic and Leah shared insights from the 21-day abundance meditations she’s been doing. From money, to chakras, to a darkly comforting card pull, we know you’ll (self)-love this episode!

“What’s Your Arche-type?” with Pro-Witch Sarah Midnight Aug 19, 2020

Show notes

Character Archetypologist and pro-witch Sarah Midnight joined us for another episode from inside Quarantine and outside of our minds. Sarah describes herself as “a guide to the WooCurious” and she walked us through what her Archetype readings look like. Turns out Leah’s a “Dreamer”, Rach is an “Artist”, and Sarah’s the Canadian answering all our basic questions like “Will life ever feel normal again?!?” She’s got a psychology degree, a crystal biz she started at age 13, and a Tarot reading in store for all of YOU, so stay till the end! And stay safe out there, witches.

“Do Less, Be More” with Jessica Michelle Singleton Aug 12, 2020

Show notes

We had a blast with thoughtful comedian and cohost of the “Two Filthy Nerds” podcast, Jessica Michelle Singleton. Thanks to this witchy nerd, we ran a full breakdown of the psychology behind Harry Potter and why so many people fall in love with it. We get to hear about Jessica’s journey at a 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreat, and how doing less has led her to *being* more. Rach & Jessica relate to the discomfort of perfectionism and we have a laugh about how *perfectly* chaotic our world is. Jessica is a riot and we know this episode will be full of signs, wisdom, and LOL’s for you.

“What the Heal?!” with Pro-Witch Katina Kontarakis Aug 05, 2020

Show notes

Pro-Witch and certified functional nutritionist Katina Kontarakis joins us for an episode that’ll have you savoring every soundbite. We talk about food, eating disorders, and the (unfortunately) very common phenomenon of using control over food as a way to cope with trauma. Katina is an open book and graciously shares her healing story with us, shit talk and all...literally. She comes from a lineage of Brujas and gives us the goosebumps with her witchy stories, aura reading, and Reiki realness! In closing Rach & Leah pull a very opportunistic card that’ll be sure to offer you some gold.

“My Third Eye Saw the Sign” with Pro-Witch Christina Rice Jul 29, 2020

Show notes

Get ready for things to be synchronistic AF in this amazing conversation with this No BS Business & Manifestation Mentor and host of the “Wellness Realness” podcast, Christina Rice. We chat about the thinning of the veil, synchronicities, angel numbers, and how we’re all getting a ton of signs lately. We know that whenever you listen to this, you will too. Christina tells Leah and Rachel about her personal journey into wellness, spirituality, and re-wiring the brain. In closing, Leah and Rachel give Christina a *lit* card pull that will leave you feelin’ goooood!

“Life is A-Maze-ing” with Paul Roberson Jul 22, 2020

Show notes

Paul Roberson is not “just” a writer, he’s also the stardust of a long lineage of Black American heroes, and believes his purpose here is to make others recognize their own beauty. You’ll hear his sweet soul resonate through your speakers as we talk about the maze of life, the repeating history in the United States, and how to stay cool when your mind gets fired up. Whether you use a journal or a typewriter like Paul, this episode should serve as a reminder to write it out, witch! We joke about games we play, both literally and figuratively, and wrap it all up with a card reading that will hopefully open some doors for everyone listening. Enjoy!

“Fly, Dragon, Fly” with Pro-Witch Theodora Longordo Jul 15, 2020

Show notes

We are joined by The Dragon Mystic herself, Theodora Longordo, for an episode that definitely slays*. “Teddy” has lived all over the country, sometimes in a house, sometimes out of a van, always practicing and teaching magic. We got the lowdown on how she flies high on her dragons in the Other Worlds when she’s astral projecting. As usual we asked the basic questions so you don’t have to, like: can you be harmed while astral projecting? How do you do that anyways? And, can you make a sandwich while you’re “out there”? Fire up your device and stay tuned to the end for a whole new type of reading. Anyone fancy some bibliomancy?

*No dragons were harmed in the making of this episode.

“Worth the Fight” with Matt Simpson Jul 08, 2020

Show notes

The moment Matt Simpson mentioned that he thinks we’d function much better in a Matriarchy we *knew* we needed to have this fellow Soulfire podcast host on our show. It was no surprise to learn Matt is also on a mission to change the world, in his case, for veterans with PTSD. As his book and pod are titled, Matt believes his goals to help vets are “Worth the Fight” and he is spreading the word on how psychedelics can aid in healing PTSD. In particular, we got to hear about Ayahuasca and the powerful change it can bring. We won’t apologize for going deep in this convo, which also means going high: to the top of the patriarchy where the systemic Trauma all starts. We wrap things up with a card reading from Leah’s hot new b-day deck!

“HooDoo’s and Don’ts” with Pro-Witch Aunt Carla Jul 01, 2020

Show notes

Aunt Carla, or as you know her on Instagram @MarieLizzeau, is a Self-Help Professional Witch, High Priestess of The Queen Up Club Mystery School, and one of the smiliest guests we’ve ever had! Listening to this ep you’ll feel like you are over at your Auntie’s house sipping hot cocoa and listening to history stories, except this time you’re learning the *TRUTH*! We acknowledge the ugly roots of America, and the unsightly roots on Rachel’s head, and how important it is to make reparations. You’ll hear the in’s and out’s of using HooDoo magic for *surviving* as the slaves did, and how Aunt Carla is transforming the folk magic into a tool for *thriving* in the modern age. Plus we tackle the million dollar question: is HooDoo for everyone, and if not, who-do and who-don’t?” In closing our Queen guest pulls an oh-so-positive Tarot and Oracle spread for the collective!
