The Giants lost 2 of 3 to the Cardinals and were a few key hits away from winning another game or 2. They head to LA to take on the Dodgers for 4 games starting Monday night. With the second half underway, they talk about if they think some players will regress or turn things on after a slow first half. The Trade Deadline is a little less then 2 weeks away and the Giants have some interesting options on their plate. The guys assume they will go after some more pitching, but not sure if they are willing to give up top prospects for a rental. The Rangers, Twins and Cubs are a few teams that have some intriguing players that the Giants could be interested in. They talk about what Giants prospects could be available to make the right deal. Joey Bart is the big name prospect that teams could be interested in for a trade. The guys talk about if they think the Giants are willing to listen to trade offers that include Bart. And they talk about how they think the Giants need to pick up a player with some postseason experience at the Deadline.

The Giants had an amazing comeback on Tuesday night with Yaz winning it with a Grand Slam late. Andy talks about how cool it was to see the crowd's reaction to the win live. The Giants now have a lot of good quality depth in the outfield with a few players close to coming back off the IL. What do they think the team might do with so many options, but not enough roster spots? Andy & Grant are ready to talk some Giants baseball and the road trip that had 2 splits and where the offensive really struggled. Are the Giants bats regressing or just in a mini slump? That is the question the guys try to answer. They both think a lot of guys still have a lot to give and are gonna get hot soon. 1 guy they both think is gonna get hot soon is Mike Yastrzemski. Sunday's loss was a different kind of game for the Giants this season- fall behind big early and don't really make any noise to get back into the game. The guys talk about the exciting comeback win Monday night vs the Rangers. Tauchman's Grand Slam was huge for the team and especially for himself since he has been struggling of late. The bullpen has had some struggles, but they look like they are finding some nice pieces to fill in the holes. Sammy Long made his debut on Wednesday and looked great. Where will he fit into the Giants plans this season? Brandon Crawford became the franchise leader for games played as a SS. From the kid who grew up being a Giants fan, to the amazing season he is having this season. He is making it hard on the Giants front office to figure out what they are going to do with him after this season.
