Bad End 42: Devotion, Apex Legends, Trials Rising Mar 07, 2019

Show notes

Two weeks have passed since BAD END 41, and much has happened. Josh has continued his descent into Apex Legends obsession. Devotion, a Taiwanese horror game, became the hottest sensation on Twitch and was promptly "cancelled" for including a satirical asset that flared up some geopolitical conflict. Sad, since it might be the best walking simulator ever made. We launched a Patreon, which you should totally check out. Oh yeah, and Trials Rising came out.

Bad End 33: When the gamer hunger subsides, or, Everything we do is for teens, or, Fortnite Oct 04, 2018

Show notes

There's a lot of games coming out this month, but you know what? Sometimes... even we gamers lose that spark in our hearts that tells us we MUST GAME 24/7. We burn out. We cruise along. We play one game on-and-off for months at a time. We stare slack-jawed at our Steam backlogs wondering if we ever enjoyed games at all. We worry that our love for games is dead. This is an episode dedicated to that feeling.
