Show notes

SHOW NOTES

Topic: Two Rifles To Rule The Backcountry

A one-gun hunter is to be respected, but a two-gun battery makes any hunter more versatile and capable.

Q&A: Bear bullets for the .350 Rem. Mag.

Picking a two-rifle battery:

Keeping both rifles the same model and configuration
Tuning triggers and picking scopes
Cartridges: The BIG Question
- One light-recoiling, efficient, accurate deer cartridge
- One powerful, accurate heavy-hitter without limitations
Picking the ultimate choices from the plethora available
Tuning bullets and velocities to be similar
Training with the light rifle
Favorite deer bullets and tough bullets for bigger game

WRAP: A well-conceived two-gun battery is arguably the best possible way to become as effective as you can be in the field.
