Episode 58 - You might need to reload it Apr 27, 2018
    Show notes

Just a quick note that I initially uploaded the wrong file for episode 58. I'm almost immediately uploaded the correct file. However, if you're using our dedicated Aviation News Talk app, and perhaps some other podcast players as well, and you are hearing the wrong episode 58 (it was a repeat of episode 57), you will have to:

    1) Make sure that you're podcast player is playing any other episode, but not episode 58.

    2) Delete episode 58

    3) Re-download episode 58.

The correct file for episode 58 starts with John Ferrell's voice.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but it's a great episode and worth taking the time to do this so you can hear it.

    Cheers, Max

There are a couple of ways to load an instrument approach when flying an approach with vectors from ATC. In this show we talk about the tradeoffs involved. The easiest way is to load the approach with vectors, but then you won't see all of the approach waypoints. A better alternative is loading the approach with an IAF and then activating the leg to which ATC is vectoring you. Trump's personal pilot being considered for FAA Administrator.
