Phil and his hunting companion, Dan, systematically dismantle the beaver house that was built inside their duck blind by pulling out the tightly woven limbs one at a time. Rather than throwing the debris away, they repurpose the beavers' gathered brush to camouflage their own duck blind. During the removal, Phil also shoots a nutria rat that was living in the structure alongside the beavers.

The Problem With Trying to Be Good Aug 27, 2026
    Show notes

The world often views the Ten Commandments as a set of moral guidelines that might produce a utopian society if strictly followed. However, treating the law as a practical blueprint for humanity misses its actual function. A system of works laws dispenses pure justice with no provision for a single mistake. Under the law, one violation demands total condemnation. God did not issue these commandments to validate human goodness, but to expose the impossibility of achieving righteousness through obedience. Christ perfectly fulfilled this standard because humanity could not, establishing a system of grace that ultimately produces the moral fruit the law demands but cannot independently generate. In this episode: Galatians 3 verse 10, Galatians 3 verse 22

5 Things Every Christian Should Be Doing Now Aug 26, 2026

Phil Robertson shares five things every Christian should be doing right now. Walking through Philippians, he challenges believers to actively partner in the gospel, defend the truth, stand firm under pressure, live in a way worthy of Christ, and keep pointing people toward Jesus.

For Phil, faith isn’t something Christians are supposed to watch from the sidelines. It should shape how they live, speak, and respond to the world around them—especially when the culture seems to be moving in the opposite direction.

The 4 Kinds of People Who Hear the Word Aug 20, 2026
    Show notes

Phil Robertson breaks down Jesus’ parable of the sower in Mark 4 and the four different ways people respond when they hear the Word of God. Some reject it immediately, some receive it but fall away under pressure, and others let the worries and desires of life choke it out. But for those where the seed takes root, the result can multiply far beyond where it started. Phil explains why sharing the gospel is ultimately an act of planting seed—and why the outcome isn’t always ours to control.
