Downside of NOT Teaching Kids to Clean or Have Chores Oct 12, 2018

Show notes

Is there a downside of not teaching kids to clean or have chores? Do you fear turning into a nagging parent with the "clean your room" "make your bed speech"? Do you have entitled kids that don't follow your kids cleaning routine?

Angela Brown, The House Cleaning Guru says there are age appropriate chores and a downside to not teaching kids to clean. A simple chore chart or a job chart can teach responsibility and life skills for kids. And chores for teenagers doing housework makes good sense. Cleanliness and organization hacks are a family affair.

Today's #AskaHouseCleaner sponsors are Savvy Cleaner. (Producer of these pro cleaning tips and cleaning videos.) HouseCleaning360 (where you can find a hire a house cleaner or maid for your home.) Savvy Perks (let your kids earn points for cleaning they can apply to adventures and electronics.)
